We finally decided to give this a go. It takes courage - especially in view of the rather bad comments of this place but we were too curious about it. Luckily, with this mentality, the food was actually OK.

I have to stress: Do not compare this with any other Japanese restaurant in the vicinity otherwise you will be gravely disappointed, whether it comes to service, food quality and/or price. Compare this to the food court in the same mall and you will feel fine.

The char-siu udon was fine. The udon and the soup was definitely supermarket quality but the char-siu was, to my great surprise, pretty good and substantial
. It cost about $90. ( I think it's half price during tea time or something.)

The tempura was their "signature dish". It took about 15-20 minutes and cost around $100. Quite a lot of vegetables and one prawn cut into two pieces. The prawn was a bit mashed up. The vegetables were OK.

We also ordered "Okinawa pork cutlet". It was marinated and tasted pretty strong. It was fine. It is similar to what you would get in a $30 lunchbox, maybe slightly better, but you need to pay $148. It's too expensive for the price.

The service was, as other users noted, rough. Exactly like what you get in a "Char chan teng" 茶餐廳. Everyone was quite chilled and inactive. Ironically, all the staff, i.e. the chief, the waiters, waitresses and manager, together with some customers, were watching "the God of Cookery (食神)".

Not as bad as expected but I won't recommend it unless they really improve on their services and food quality.

個人認為刺身非常新鮮

And then our bad day came... we ordered 特上魚生飯 and 鰻魚飯.... After waiting for around 10 mins, the 魚生飯 was brought to our table... 特上???? my first thought was did the waitress make the wrong order??? we didn't order 普通魚生飯bor??!! but after verified... it really was 特上魚生飯!!!!! OMG!!!! only 5-6 types of very standard raw fishes and 1-2 slices each type!!!!! are you kidding me this is called 特上??? and the fishes were not that fresh!!!!

after another 5 mins, 鰻魚飯 arrived... this one was not as surprised as the 魚生飯, but the portion was quite small, probably good for tea set!!!!

guess how much the 特上魚生飯 is.... you can never think of this quality of 魚生飯 in such a shopping mall costs you $180+10%!!!!!!!!!! com'on, we are not in IFC, PP or Times Square!!!!! I swear I'll never go there again!!!!! I really thought we were robbed!!!

今晚到了國際都會商場用膳, 其實商場內有很多不同類型的餐廳, 但不部分都要輪位, 剛好見到此店不用排隊, 而且環境OK, 雖然價格比較貴, 但念在不用排隊,就光顧此餐廳, 當時是晚上7點, 我朋友落了一碗咖哩豬扒飯, 而我就要一碗烏冬, 不到5分鐘, 朋友的咖哩豬扒飯便到了, 我當然著朋友先吃, 過了20分鐘, 我的餐還未有, 當時已催促店員A, 還問他有沒有漏單, 而店員A 當然說廚房已準備中, 好的, 那我就多等一會, 又過了10分鐘, 還未有, 結果我又7PM入去時無咩客戶到差不多8點愈來愈多客, 我的餐依然未有, 之後, 店員A竟然通知說廚房太多單, 做不切, 要求我先取消ORDER!!!!!!問題是, 我下單時店內並不多人, 不明為何等了30分鐘後才說做不來, 要求我取消ORDER, 太過份了, 連建議其他可以快上的餐都沒有, 好像不在乎你一單半單ORDER, 結果, 我們唯有結賬價值75元又細又味道麻麻的咖哩豬扒飯後即走!!!!!!!!呢D真係叫做裝修一流, 服務9流

凍奶茶---未加奶糖前先試茶味,香濃,好味

侍應態度唔錯,雖然佢倒潟左我地d豉油,我都唔會怪佢

不過係唔夠細心,拎飯又唔比匙果d,筷子又長短.....

呢間野食品選擇唔算多,
我唔會特登去食,
只是今次感覺唔錯,
我都係喜歡食生多過熟

We ordered the set menu for $800 for 4 people, was really disappointed :1) The menus includes 4 non-alcoholic drinks but find out it only offers canned soft drinks;2) The set has a sushi saled and mixed sushi - there is only small pieces of salmon and tune, etc. and the quality is even worse than what we got from the supermarket.3) The "urchin" 海膽 fried rice, portion is not enough for 4 people plus I can hardly taste the urchin.A bad experience!

最終浪費了HK$264食左一餐垃圾, 搞到要去對面火車站食Mc Cafe. 以後一定睇過Openrice的食評先去試新嘢!
