彩虹凱撒沙律
呢個沙律唔單止好食,仲好新鮮,而且材料都好特別,例如有鮮橙肉、南瓜片、彩椒絲等,相當鮮甜,加上溫泉蛋在面,吃之前將蛋汁攪拌混和沙律,還吃到蛋香,十分美味!

鹽燒魷魚筒
魷魚筒真係無法抗拒,原隻魷魚筒鹽燒後斬件上,吃入口會吃到滿滿的魷魚香味,而且也很彈牙,好味!

串燒手羽及菠蘿
還叫了2種串燒,手羽的肉質相當嫩滑,而且烤燒的時間剛剛好,烤得雞皮脆口。而燒菠蘿相當清甜,值得一讚的是廚房職員很細心,特別將菠蘿肉全起再放回菠蘿皮上,讓客人吃得輕鬆,好正!

鹽燒牛舌丼
牛舌彈牙爽口,而且會吃到牛的香味,醬汁都做得剛剛好,不會搶去牛舌的味道之餘,還會令牛舌的味道提升,好味道!

味噌甲羅燒
呢個甲羅燒真係不得了,蟹膏一吃便知道並非罐頭產品,加上蟹籽及蛋汁混和,放入口會感受到蟹膏的味道充滿整個口腔,吃時可先鋪一塊紫菜,加一口飯,再加一口蟹膏,簡直係美妙的組合,必推!

Trying this restaurant once again in a week was pretty unexpected and I wasn't even planning to write another review on this dining experience, but after my revisit, I would like to make a compliment more than just about food.

We were again visiting during late afternoon and this time was all about trying out those we listed to try last week. We ordered the Miyazaki udon,
Fried mackerel and Ox tongue don.

Ox tongue don was well presented, exactly like the picture showed on menu. Ox tongue was grilled flavourfully. The cracking black peppers gave a crunch plus the peppery flavour which became a booster of the meatiness. Ox tongue was tender and juicy. Jasmine rice underneath was lightly drizzled with the teriyaki sauce. Appreciate they gave just the right amount of sauce covering the top of the rice. So that rice remained dry with its own sweetness. The topped Japanese negi gave a hint of herby earthiness to the beefy taste. Good job.

Miyazaki udon seems a simple noodle dish especially the broth was very flavourful. Apart from the miso flavour and spiciness, chef smartly chopped the cabbages, mixing with minced meat and egg, extra sweetness and savouriness added. Udon was chewy as it should be, a good quality one. Loaded cabbages and minced were enough for your every bite. Love they were in small pieces for easy consumption. It was a decent dish.

Fried mackerel was a drooling small bite. Serving size is bigger than I thought. Mackerel was deep fried to golden yellow. Batter was thin and lightly seasoned. By drizzling lemon juice, acidity lessoned the heatiness from the fry food. Mackerel was cooked to perfection. Moist and crispy. Absolutely delicious , perfect happy hour food.

Here came to the experience I would like to share. Even restaurant was pretty empty, staff still happy to serve and some were even working on preparation, ingredients ordering and stock checking while in the middle of their lunch break. Some kept on checking our table ensuring our tea was refilled and helped cleaning our table so that we could sit longer and more comfortable. Staff also asked if our food was good and suitable to our taste bud. Could tell the whole team was organised and knew their role well. Good job staff!

I am not a big fan of Japanese cuisine but lately I could barely find a Japanese restaurant that keeps their quality especially after the hit of sewage release in Japan. Suggested by my friend today trying out this Japanese restaurant which always crowded during lunch and dinner time, we went for a very late lunch.

As it was pretty late for lunch, restaurant was empty. Staff still very welcoming and willing to serve politely. Orders made via QR code. Menu serves loads of options. Images indeed appetising. We ordered a bow of grilled beef ramen, grilled eggplant, ox- tongue, prawn tempura and fried chicken cartilage.

As it was an open kitchen design, you could tell they prepared the food fresh. Grilled beef ramen was first served. Smelly incredibly nice. Broth was very savoury despite with a layer of oil, it made you drool. Love they served a right balance texture of ramen. Kept slightly tough but soft enough to absorb the broth. Beef was in thin slice which well seasoned with black peppers. The half soft boiled egg was cooked perfectly. Creamy and lightly marinated. Spring onions were also topped which gave some herbyness on every bite.

Ox tongue was cooked beautifully. It was a nice cut too. Neither too tough nor hard. Grilled to perfection. By drizzling some lemon juice, the acidity lifted its meatiness. Absolutely loving it.

You could tell they mastered the tempura technique just by its appearance. Light yellow transparent batter with literally no oil absorbed by the parchment paper. Prawns were served clean and neat. Batter was just right with crispiness and lightly salted. Dipping with the turnip mashed source, it became a light bite.

Fried chicken cartilage was again unexpectedly well executed. Again drizzled with lemon juice, the greasy taste literally like rinsed away. Crunchy with a slight chew. Batter again seasoned well. Salty and tangy. Perfect to pair with a draft of beer.

Grilled eggplant was definitely my favourite among all. It was loaded with bonito flakes. Tried to cut into pieces of easy serving. It was so soft that very easy for sharing. Once bite, it melted in your mouth. Literally became a paste. Smooth and moist. With the marinate of mirin, garlic and teriyaki sauce, it was incredible savoury and umami. Love it so badly. Combining with the woody earthy flavour from the bonito flakes, it's an elevation of a simple ingredient, aubergine. Absolutely amazing and a master piece. Never underestimate a single vegetable!

All in all, it was a surprise! Good deal with such cooking technique. Highly recommend and will definitely come back to try their roast meat and rice set.

P.s Highly appreciate staff being so helpful that gave advice on food choice and reminders. In addition with kept refilling tea while it's during her lunch break. Thank you for the service and experience!
