Afternoon tea 有五款鹹點和五款甜點,加埋我最鍾意食的鬆餅。
五款鹹點 :
1. 火腿芝士多士及鵪春蛋
2. 松露龍蝦配黃蛋醬
3. 龍蒿香草雞肉撻
4. 樹蕃茄凍湯配羅勒泡沫
5. 芝士蝦卷
五款鹹點都各有味道,尤其是松露龍蝦配黃蛋醬松露味很濃加埋黃蛋醬一齊食很特別。

我點了香檳(會由waiter refill),他又再用奇怪的廣東話回覆我們說:「香檳」,又去了和朋友聊天(背著所有客人),15分鐘都沒有行動。

之後,我趁他回望一下時,再看他一眼,他才去拿香檳。

之後一直沒有理會我們,沒有問我們要什麼主菜,幾多成熟,香檳也很少refill。

上主菜前,沒有收碟,沒有更換餐具(因為用的餐具不同),要傳菜的侍應來幫他做了以上的工作。

本來,我們不打算食蛋的部份,但主菜份量很少,refill亦很少,我身邊兩位老人家都吃不飽,於是決定點蛋的部分。於是,又要叫他了,我心想會不會他不是本地人,聽不懂講東話?

因為他又對其他非本地客不停refill香檳(那枱是韓國客,食很少,只顧著餵bb)

所以,這次我用流利的英文跟他再order

他竟然立即用正常流利的廣東話跟我們交談!

我用正常廣東話,你就用奇怪廣東話;
我用正常英文,你就同正常流利廣東話?!

Prawn, avocado, lobster jelly and chilled romaine leaves - This is the same way I kick off my meals at Seasons since I started coming here a few years ago (except one other time I started with their scallop tartare). It 's a brilliant dish that I probably would never get tired of. This time, I noticed a bit more espelette in there than usual but still great combination of flavors and textures. Wonderful start (Grade: 5/5).

This is a very busy dish with a lot of ingredients highlighted by, of course, the scramble egg and summer truffle. I thought the scramble egg was really buttery so I am guessing it had a considerable amount of butter in there. Perhaps more so than egg itself. Honestly, it wasn't bad considering the amount of summer truffle there but I was kind of expecting more (Grade: 3.5/5).

I was expecting something along the line of a couple long strips (or slices) of beef but instead it was a big and thick piece of steak like a traditional filet mignon.
There were two things I didn't like about this beef tenderloin. First and foremost, it's a bit overcooked. When I asked for medium, I expected at least a little bit of pink in the middle but it looked a lot more like medium well to me. Then, it was the sauce. If I'm looking for a steak served with peppercorn sauce, I probably would have gone to a steakhouse instead of a Michelin starred French restaurant, right (Grade: 3/5)?

I was on my own, but the staffs at Seasons were still warm and courteous leading me to the table. My goodness, the table was close to the glass window but not too close (caught some sun nicely). Ordered the fabulous tea-set of savory snacks and sweet pastry, and of course allowing myself to enjoy my favorite book "American Pastoral" by Philip Roth while catching some sun.

The tea set was super duper wonderful - particularly the savory ones. I am the biggest fan of savory snacks, and all the savory ones pleased my palate to the point that I felt "bliss and rapture". I could not stop myself from reaching and uncovering the taste of the next piece - barely finished reading 3 pages once starting myself with the savory snacks.

The sweet ones were fabulous. But, as a super savory snack fan, I was a little slow with the sweet ones. Every time I finished reading 2-3 pages, I reached for one, but enough to put me into total joy. As a macaron lover (macaron being among the two sweets I really enjoy), I was ecstatic by the ones served at Seasons. The texture, the taste, the after-taste, the fragrance etc. pleased me badly.

As a me-time escape, Seasons by Olivier E. is a wonderful choice. Think I am going there again myself pretty soon.

多次在社交平台看到Seasons by Olivier的下午茶, 但一直未嚐過, 上星期, 我終於也去到潮聖啊~ 總覺得這裏的下午茶是夠指標性, 今次的Summer Afternoon Tea貫徹作風, 吸睛之餘, 味道亦十分好. 三層架上放有5款咸點, 而5款甜點、原味及提子鬆餅則在木盒內. 整體上, 咸點的水準也很高, 例如樹蕃茄凍湯配羅勒泡沫及火腿芝士多士鵪鶉蛋. 羅勒泡沫好清香, 這杯讓我幻想了一條胡蘿蔔! 而多士剛好一口大小, 很濃的蛋香! 松露龍蝦配蛋黃醬, 龍蝦肉夠實淨, 加上有松露香的點綴, 這一口很矜貴! 以青瓜片卷著芝士蝦卷, 平衡了芝士的濃郁, 一點也不膩. 菠蘿冰棒是下午茶之中較少見的, 但卻非常適合夏日, 咬開脆卜卜的外層, 是甜甜的菠蘿肉, 透心涼啊~ 這杯冰茶啫喱, 十足十一杯真的檸茶, 以蒟蒻作冰粒, 像真度高, 少甜的很合我口味. 賣相取勝的有如迷你西瓜般的士多啤梨macaroon, 不會死甜. 其餘兩款甜點有法式芒果撻、炸黑朱古力冬甩. 與其他下午茶相比, 一般只有兩件, 但Seasons 的是每人兩件. 口感有點像蛋糕. 由於果茶酸澀味太重,令小妹有點失望,每啖西柚味重,非常酸,其後加水喝了幾轉,便中和其酸度會比較好。

High Tea目的是相機食先吧,整體味道不過不失,沒有特別大驚喜,價錢中等,但眼看環境是清潔的,但可能是坐在一角的關係,不知道為什麼有多隻小飛蚊不停衝撞,拍又拍不死,最後無奈地放棄和他一同吃Tea。

已經是第二次來這餐廳晚膳,第一次的時候服務態度良好嘢食亦都10分美味,但當時只有兩個人。昨晚一家大細六個人來晚膳時,食物水準仍然保持良好,但waiter 落單和解釋食物內容時粗疏求其又落錯單,原本甜品是三個心太軟變了暖朱古力,完全九唔搭八。兩份龍蝦全餐落單時說明是一隻龍蝦是全餐,半隻就是例牌,但上枱時卻是每碟半隻多啲啲,在查詢時侍應說廚房或者是標準,完全違反商品條例,下次唔會再幫襯。

其實每款甜點水準都極高當中最深印象就係冰茶啫喱,酸酸香香的入口好爽皮,其次便是我最愛的菠蘿冰棒,薄薄香甜的白朱古力內包裹著濃香多汁的菠蘿肉,咬下去Juicy萬分令人十分有驚喜,就連不好甜的院長也連聲稱讚就知道這個菠蘿冰棒有多棒啦!
