要特別提及的是雞肉串燒,沒想像過在這裡食到飲碳燒過的新鮮雞串,連秘制的沙嗲醬,是滿分的組合,我想我會為他們的串燒再來光顧。

下車經過餐廳,被門口巳包好的食品吸引,剛剛又有些肚餓,而餐廳又不是多食客,決定一試。套餐$60以下,雖然包餐飲,但反而是本地食品炒粉麵飯,而印尼食品則是咖哩牛,羊,不是很吸引。而主餐牌的價格也偏高,所有麵飯都要$60-100以上。印尼餐廳當然食印尼食品,於是選了賣相不錯的印尼黃羌飯。餐廳不多食客,但等了差不多十分鐘食品才上枱,而侍應正在拖地,拖完地,不洗手就親手送餐。而老闆娘,更當著客人食飯時,幫完事的孫BB清潔patpat,唉!小本經營的餐廳,也沒有要求了。但這碟黃羌飯確是我食過最美味的,熱辣辣的黃羌飯,再配炸雞脾,炸蝦片,花生炸魚仔,印尼甜辣醬雞蛋,葱芽菜,青瓜,炸薯餅,實物比圖片更吸引,而且配合得超好味,又醒胃,又大碟。$66都值得比。

We love Indonesian food and were really looking forward to trying this place.  We have been to a few of the warungs in HK and generally, they have been pretty decent.  Well, this place disappointed us, especially as it is in Causeway Bay, the heart of Indonesian HK.  We were distractedly ushered to a table when we entered.  It had not been cleaned, but they sorted it out when they brought the menus.  We ordered nasi goreng (fried rice), bebek goreng (fried duck), soto ayam (chicken noodle soup)

We love Indonesian food and were really looking forward to trying this place.  We have been to a few of the warungs in HK and generally, they have been pretty decent.  Well, this place disappointed us, especially as it is in Causeway Bay, the heart of Indonesian HK.  

We were distractedly ushered to a table when we entered.  It had not been cleaned, but they sorted it out when they brought the menus.  We ordered nasi goreng (fried rice), bebek goreng (fried duck), soto ayam (chicken noodle soup) and an es cendol (coconut milk and mung bean jelly drink).

The cendol was ok - a little too much sugar syrup for my taste, but it wasn't offensive.  

The nasi goreng tasted more like Chinese fried rice and had none of the great Indonesian flavour.  It was fine, but not nasi goreng.

The soto ayam was also a little flavourless, it was perked up a little by the lime and the chicken was juicy, but it lacked depth.  It looked like a soto ayam, but it didn't quite tick all the boxes on taste.

The bebek was a bit of a disaster.  So it came as a supreme, but the leg bones (devoid of meat) were still attached to the breast.  It was woefully over-cooked.  It was tough and leathery.  It came with some rice, sambal and cabbage  - all good, but the star of the dish was destroyed by the cook.

This place was not cheap and the quality was not good.  Apart from the duck, it was all ok, but didn't pack any punch.  We won't be returning.

Popped into this small canteen type place in the evening with a Malaysian friend. I can't remember all the names of the dishes (an Openrice newbie here, so need to sort my system out!) - but the spicy chicken dish (kari ayam) was delicious, the fish (ikan sambal) was nice enough - could have been better! It was around lunch hour and thought it might be a good idea to have a plate of Indonesian yumminess.It's a small place which can seat up around 40 persons. We got a table at the back of the eatery, just below the big screen television. It's a small place which can seat up around 40 persons. We got a table at the back of the eatery, just below the big screen television. It's a quite weird sight I still have to get used to, as I am coming from a culture where we would rather get together for lunch to chat, laugh and enjoy the food.

We ordered a Nasi Kuning and a Rendang Padang. The Nasi Kuning looked alright, the rice looked like a bowl of gold, and was surrounded by Ayam Goreng, Frikadel, Rendang, a half telor, some Kacang, Krupuk, and vegetables which resembled Spinach. The rice was nicely cooked, but lacked the taste from the ingredients which are usually used during the cooking progress. For me personally it meant no taste of coconut milk and lemongrass, which made the rice taste bland and not rich in flavours as it should be. The accompanying dishes tasted good, but did not live up to the rich and explosive flavours as one would expect from the Indonesian kitchen.

The Rendang Padang was served in a generous bowl along with a plate of steamed rice. The Rendang Padang was mainly spicy, but since my lunch companion loves spicy food, he was content with the taste. The meat was cooked as it should be juicy and tender.

It might be that they cook food which is adjusted to the local taste and therefore uses less spices and condiments. But hey, it's cheap, you get a generous amount of food, and it's just a nice eatery where you can drop by quickly for a plate of colourful food.

I ordered something I always miss from Indonesia, mie ayam (chicken noodle). It is something I crave all the time, something I order daily when I am back to Indonesia and so far, my quest to find the authentic mie ayam in Hong Kong has not been very successful. This one is no exception. The texture of the noodle is nothing like what I find in Indonesia, although everything else were delicious. The chicken topping, the MSG laden soup and meatballs, yummy.

The empek empek palembang (fried fish cake) was even more disappointing. It wasn't light or crispy, it bore the texture of something which had been refried too many times.

However, the gule kambing's (stewed lamb) was simply delish! It tasted just like what's available back home, if not even better. The meat's tender and the soup has all the right flavors, super rich! It compensated all the other disappointing dishes.

在老銅近維園一帶一早已成為一個小印尼,主因除了因為維園成了印尼傭工在假日的聚腳點,另外其中一個原因都是因為印尼的大使館就正好在附近,形成附近的商圈有不少的印尼雜貨店及食店。廢話少說,今天天氣開始有點熱,想吃點惹味的東南亞菜,人在附近,就找了這家印尼館子吃東西,來到店門外,才發現原來蔡先生也來過,一人進佔了卡座,好不舒服,本來想吃黃薑飯的,但不在套餐之列,單點看來不太抵吃,既然副選的巴東牛在套餐之列,一於點了一個來吃,另附送熱飲及餐湯。先來的是餐湯,是一個茶記式的西式紅湯,喝起來比金寶湯要酸,但其湯身又真的蠻像金寶的羅宋湯呢!加了點甘荀粒,喝起來味道普普通通;另外奶茶也是很快已經有得喝了,用上厚身瓷杯盛着,按道理應非常保溫,可是茶溫其實完全不夠,且茶味很薄,茶香自然低,但此茶一喝就真知真的是用了黑白淡奶,茶身夠滑夠挺,喝起來也有點奶香,但個人認為店家需要認真點處理一下貴店的茶胆了。巴東牛飯除了有一堆巴東牛肉,一碗大大的白飯外,伴碟還有一片蕃茄及青瓜及半隻烚蛋,蕃茄及青瓜片新鮮,烚蛋於我而言不太吸引,但蛋上那堆印尼式辣醬真的挺辣的,對我來說當然是非常之過癮,而那堆巴東牛肉真的是如鹵水牛展一

先來的是餐湯,是一個茶記式的西式紅湯,喝起來比金寶湯要酸,但其湯身又真的蠻像金寶的羅宋湯呢!加了點甘荀粒,喝起來味道普普通通;另外奶茶也是很快已經有得喝了,用上厚身瓷杯盛着,按道理應非常保溫,可是茶溫其實完全不夠,且茶味很薄,茶香自然低,但此茶一喝就真知真的是用了黑白淡奶,茶身夠滑夠挺,喝起來也有點奶香,但個人認為店家需要認真點處理一下貴店的茶胆了。

巴東牛飯除了有一堆巴東牛肉,一碗大大的白飯外,伴碟還有一片蕃茄及青瓜及半隻烚蛋,蕃茄及青瓜片新鮮,烚蛋於我而言不太吸引,但蛋上那堆印尼式辣醬真的挺辣的,對我來說當然是非常之過癮,而那堆巴東牛肉真的是如鹵水牛展一樣,但就非常嫩口,一點也不韌及黏牙齒,其膠質位更是美妙,辣醬夠辣夠惹味,但就真如惡男兄所言,一看已經知道是分開處理的快餐式巴東牛肉,但惹味美味,也就達成是日想吃開胃的東南亞菜的目的了。

整體來說當然有很多的改善空間,包括服務方面,因為一位印尼裔的店員不斷的跟老板在嘈交,大聲的不得了,但既然整體來說食物算是不錯,就一於另找一次機會來試其黃薑飯。

星期五晚,原定與女友去銅鑼灣睇戲,但因臨時加班,只好作罷,突然想吃黃薑飯,曾試過敬誠街的印尼美食館,今次就去電車路旁的福興粉麵吧!福興位於糖街與怡和街的交界點,鋪位前身曾是文輝魚旦大王,附近有不少印尼超市,應吸引不少「街坊」幫襯。茶餐廳格局,餐牌上除供應特色的印尼菜外,竟然還有香港地道的車仔麵,就連廈門炒米和上海粗炒 (英文名卻寫著 Fried Noodle in Japanese Style?) 都可以找到,選擇範圍極廣。最想吃的印尼黃薑飯 ($53) 八點未到已告售罄,唯有退而求其次,二人要了巴東牛肉飯 ($48) 及特色椰汁雞飯 ($48)。跟餐附送的羅宋湯,色水淡,有一些紅蘿蔔粒及薯仔粒,更「免費附送」雞腳趾一隻,湯的味道好濃,應該下了不少「師傅」。再試一口凍奶茶,奶與茶的比例竟是五五之比,糖漿也下了不少,甜得我面容扭曲,眉頭可夾死烏繩,立即舉白旗放棄,或者港式奶茶及西式羅宋湯不是福興的招牌,主菜不會太差吧?特色椰汁雞飯及巴東牛肉飯先後送上,前者醬汁顏色較紅,毫無椰香,味道卻帶少許辣,送飯吃還可以。配料方面,炸蛋上放了辣醬,幾特別,但卻是凍冰冰的,感覺不太討好。「雞轉彎」就更糟

特色椰汁雞飯及巴東牛肉飯先後送上,前者醬汁顏色較紅,毫無椰香,味道卻帶少許辣,送飯吃還可以。配料方面,炸蛋上放了辣醬,幾特別,但卻是凍冰冰的,感覺不太討好。「雞轉彎」就更糟糕,雞皮不脆不淋,硬到用叉都叉唔入,幾經辛苦撕開了雞肉,放入口又發覺肉質勁鞋勁實,最後我勉強吃了一半就投降了。

至於女友的巴東牛肉感覺也是差不多,這裡的巴東牛肉其實是厚切的牛腱肉,有點像中式鹵牛肉,可惜炆得不夠軟腍,質地又是硬梆梆的,水準之低,實在不值得與印尼美食館的出品相提並論。

埋單後,我的喉嚨有點乾涸,女友更是面頰發熱手腳麻痺,應是味精引起的皮膚敏感,這個「飯後感」,還是第一次遇到。

我同媽咪去銅鑼灣好多時都係去呢間食野我可以食到好辣既野所以特別鍾意食個度D辣野黃薑飯蛋上面D辣椒醬夠晒辣另一個係炸雞上面鋪好多辣椒醬既飯勁好味又夠辣個度到野又唔係特別貴‵比起其他印尼餐廳算平$50一個飯左右我同媽咪食左兩個飯加杯野飲都係百幾蚊左右真係唔算貴既
