中學時代雖然係附近番學竟然要畢業後先得知呢道嘅美食好似係大埔group見到就結業雖然唔知係唔係,我都即刻衝去回味一下入到去幾乎滿座,我毒自一人所以易搵位d叫咗咖哩牛腩加nan跟餐有枝可樂牛腩份量很多,我諗有10舊煮得夠入味,夠林,咬落唔痴牙食完一舊想再一舊薯仔應該係分開煮完再放埋一齊,可能驚佢會煮爛曬因為本身咖哩夠味,薯仔都有咖哩味Nan雖然得一塊,但係吸汁能力特強食完其實已經好飽味道啱啱好,好正呢間印度食店其實開咗好耐,真係希望佢一直做落去

脆餅(Papadam):一上枱,有少少嚇了我一跳,因為比平時吃到的顏色比較焦黑,而且送上的是「薄荷醬」及「茄汁」(通常是帶辣的甜酸醬)。還好「薄荷醬」椰子味濃,配合脆餅還是可以的。至於脆餅配「茄汁」就......極度難食。

「香料、蕃茄、洋蔥,莞茜脆餅」(Masala Tomato Oinion Papadam):呢個小食並不存在在餐牌裡。我把手機照片給印度籍侍應看,問她有沒有這菜式,她說沒有,然後我回覆她「那就算吧!」。最後,這個小食仍然在餐桌上出現。我其實從來沒有見過蕃茄及洋蔥粒切得這麼大 (嚴格來說,體積已不算是粒),不過我還是很欣賞他們願意為我製作這道小食。雖然材料的大小有點

「椰汁咖哩雞」:雞是雪藏貨色,並不算特別滑,無雪味,亦不特別有雞鮮味,味道還可以,而雞肉的份量頗多,也算不錯。汁底椰味重,咖哩微辣,與薄餅同食,或拌飯亦一樣不錯。

「牛油薄餅」:薄餅(Naan)有不同味道,我們挑了「牛油」味,一份大約有半個Naan的份量,切成四塊。這裡的薄餅不錯,有口感之飯也很鬆軟,比很多餐廳的好。

「雜果炒飯」:印度香米製成的「三色飯」,伴以菠蘿、木瓜粒炒成,單食或配以咖喱同食也可,而且份量不少。

香料奶茶「Masala tea」是我飲過最淡的,很失望;朋友點了芒果乳酪「Mango Lassi」也說很淡口味。不過,針對本地人口味,在味道的濃、淡作調味,很多印度餐廳都有這樣做。

結帳$212,見到這裡沒有收加一服務費,也就付了齊頭。

餐廳裏所有員工都是印度人,要用英文溝通,有一個識聽中文。我地7個人叫咗四人餐$138(烤雞,咖哩羊,咖哩魚,咖哩牛,四枝印度啤/氣水/其他飲品),另外再加D散叫。出菜速度可以,唔會等太耐,服務還可以。係我個人覺得,烤雞味道醃得夠味,可以但乾身咗少少,D咖哩可以再辣D再濃D再多D香料味噤就完美。總括我們全程都食得很開心愉快,無咩投訴,瑕疵一定有,但睇番我地理單每人都係一百蚊多少少,就覺得唔需要太計較,如果想抱住試好食嘅印度菜就唔見意,如果普通飯局就可以。

再嚟係啲咖呢!一味得甜字,想點?最過份係雜菜咖呢竟然得焗豆、紅蘿白同菠蘿!
最後竟然連燒餅都可以差成咁!喊!同一般啲都唔似樣!

食外國野最緊要食嘅係原汁原味,韓國人開嘅韓國餐廳實有說服力過香港人開嘅韓國餐廳。所以去到尼間野見到啲工作人員都係印度人就安心好多。我同女朋友點左咖哩雞餐同咖哩魚餐。咖哩冇香味都算,個咖哩雞啲雪櫃味仲重過我直接去舐我屋企嘅雪櫃。啲魚又爛爛綿綿。真係好後悔信左之前啲"very authentic"嘅留言。I will not visit this restaurant again. For those who fancy about indian cuisine please visit those in ChungKing Mansions.

我們將其中一份午餐加 $10 升級為特餐,可額外享用雜菜咖哩角(Vegetable Samosa)及炸洋蔥件(Onion Bhaji)兩種炸物。

Samosa 是印度人常吃的點心,以馬鈴薯、豆、香料等作為餡料,味帶微辣,做到皮薄而香脆,味道不俗。而 Bhaji 是以菜為材料的印度炸菜餅,這一次由於用上了洋蔥,很香口,但味道偏鹹偏重,我認為 Samosa 較優勝。

比較喜歡咖哩雞的咖哩,因為做得比較入味。不過雞肉本身就做得一般,不及牛腩好食。

食咖哩怎可以沒有印度家庭的家常菜--印度烤餅(Nan)?今次吃到的烤餅很香,外層微脆,內層甚有嚼口,沾咖哩來吃很不錯。由於牛腩的咖哩太淡味,我們多數都沾咖哩雞來食。

在沙士亞印度餐廳悠悠閒閒地享用了寧靜的午餐後,可以帶著輕鬆滿足的心情出發賞花。食物雖然未至於很突出,但亦不失為一個好選擇。而以餐廳環境和超值的午餐價格來說,更加是性價比非常高的一餐。
Other Info. : 食物方面只屬 OK 但由於價格超值、環境不錯,所以整體感覺都是一次愉快的用餐經驗,所以給一個笑臉。

聽朋友提過在大埔吃咖哩的好去處,便慕名而來,餐廳由外籍人士主理,待應也是額頭中心點有紅痣的姐姐,但沒有深究咖哩是否正宗,姑且一試吧羊肉咖哩套餐印度薄餅跟咖哩從來都是絕配 (基本上任何能蘸上汁料的碳水化合物都是本人心頭好),咖哩味道不算濃,稍為偏鹹,兼帶有一點酸酸的蕃茄味,若辣味重一些會更佳羊肉味道尚可,愈羶的羊肉我愈愛(羶才是羊肉的真諦!),這裡的羊肉雖有羶味,但還未達心中的水準,肉質還有改善空間,雖不至於過韌,但炆得軟身一點會更完美薄餅口感恰到好處,不會太乾,入口不覺得熱氣,麵粉味挺香的咖哩角(及炸蔬菜物)咖哩角是全餐的亮點,皮薄兼真材實料,內裡充滿咖哩薯仔牛肉粒,很好吃的印度點心套餐配送兩款醬料: 薄荷醬及茄醬螢光青色的薄荷醬想必不乏色素,味道一點也不薄荷,但待應姐姐說是Mint source,配上薄餅真是一流,所以顧不得色素是人工還是天然,全部吃進肚子

羊肉咖哩套餐

Despite previous reviews i found the service at this restaurant to be acceptable. Admittedly the lady behind the bar and the owner were not all smiles but they were accommodating given we arrived at 2.30 and they usually close for lunch at 3. Despite previous reviews i found the service at this restaurant to be acceptable. Admittedly the lady behind the bar and the owner were not all smiles but they were accommodating given we arrived at 2.30 and they usually close for lunch at 3. In fact they made no fuss and allowed us to eat and chat well past 3 which i thought was cool.

On the food front i thought some of the dishes were very nice (beef vindaloo was tender and the spice balance and heat was to my taste). The dal makhani was a little thin but still tasty. Everything else was pretty decent (chicken tikka, Goan fish curry, bindhi). The biryani rice was a bit gluggy for my liking, basmathi should be loose and firm, or the character of the grain is compromised. What i really liked was the salt levels, all the dishes were only lightly salted which really allowed the flavours to sing. I would be happy to eat here again just for the food. One of my Sri Lankan friends absolutely loved it, he polished 3 plates of rice, he thoroughly enjoyed the food here.

住在大埔的人,應該無人不識沙士亞印度餐廳的了,這間店坐落人來人住的廣福道,而且開業十多年了,是由印度人主理的印度餐廳~店員都是印度人,但點餐可照講中文,他們懂的~今次帶朋友來,我與朋友都點了咖喱牛腩+烤餅+忌廉 ($3X)跟餐送上一碗類似忌廉湯的湯品,但又不似忌廉湯,味道很淡,不好喝的~至於咖喱牛腩,份量很小的,但都不緊要,精髓是在於醬汁,點來熱點辣辣的烤餅最正,所以牛腩只係陪襯品咋~餐飲選了細枝樽裝忌廉,很少地方供應了,不過細支唔夠飲喎,HAHA~

至於咖喱牛腩,份量很小的,但都不緊要,精髓是在於醬汁,點來熱點辣辣的烤餅最正,所以牛腩只係陪襯品咋~

餐飲選了細枝樽裝忌廉,很少地方供應了,不過細支唔夠飲喎,HAHA~
