炸物有參巴雞肉卷和炸蝦丸,算是香口,可惜較為油膩,連基本的印尼醬料也欠奉,只得茄醬和李派林。
較為耐吃的,算是這裡的串燒了,肉質鮮嫩,味道亦香濃,用炭爐奉上,卻弄得不夠熱,臨尾的醬油炒椰菜、印尼炒麵和炒飯,以甜味為主,色香味不太俱全。

埋單約百二,價錢不算貴, 只是食物的味道、以及服務上都不能達標,如果力有不逮,還可體諒一下,態度上未盡全力,對此就不以為然了,全港的印尼菜館選擇也不算少,總不成吃這一間。

有車人士一早已到, 我們亦分批的士到達. 從大圍站飛的上來, 唔駛跳錶.

上到黎, 竟然是full house, 先到的車友朋友已經說, 冇咖哩雞啦.........不理了, 搶先落單算了.....結果, 點了咖哩羊....沒有....炒椰菜...要3碟, 才來了兩碟...已經沒貨.......

結果, 桌上的, 只有 加多加多 (沙律), 炸蟹球, 印尼鹵牛肉, 巴東牛肉, 炒椰菜, 沙參雞卷, 巴東炭燒雞 同 主角 爐仔串燒.

加多加多先來, 自己錯誤了估計份量, 而且忙到成隻野咁既老闆哥仔又不作提點, 結果先來一小碟.....有印尼蝦片, 有沙爹醬, 撈出來的味道係唔錯既.....只不過.....飲品就遲遲未到.....

再來, 是炸蟹丸. 除了那些非常基本既燒雞亦外...我們都算是把其Menu掃了, 同場咁多人, 都應該把其廚房掃了....炸蟹丸, 是忘了或是根本沒有汁. 一球球, 彈跳力極強. 味道都幾香口, 若有沙爹醬或泰式醬點一點, 味道更佳.

來了個印尼鹵牛肉, 味道又咸又甜, 碟頭也是太小了, 兩碟睇黎不夠, 再加多一碟吧. 不過發現廚房已經亂哂龍出菜沒有次序, 又慢, 啤酒最簡單都催了4次.......

巴東牛肉, 醬汁味道正宗, 有椰子味. 大家都用來撈飯, 感覺上只是不過不失.

炒椰菜, 非常簡單的一道菜, 除了加多加多之外, 這就是唯一的"菜"式了, 幸好我們要了最後兩碟. 但, 一早已經覺得portion細, 菜既Portion, 更細........大家於此時, 已產生溝貨既念頭....

主角來了, 是用爐仔上的串燒, 叫足40條, 有雞, 有牛, 有羊. 不過, 一爐上又有少少失了我預算, 原本以為會分四個爐處理.....我即時有一個諗頭, 呢度, 始終都係早一點來為妙, 同埋, 拍拖來最好. 大伙人......(是晚有3檯大伙人), 店主阿哥話由朝忙到晚, 未停過......好多野賣哂....服務不周.....我入親去追, 佢就不停的Say sorry.....知道店主哥哥好"猛", 一位中老年嬸嬸問呢樣出左未, 果樣出左未.....阿哥仔"猛"到連阿媽都鬧......樓面, 廚房, 已經係失控.......

沙參雞卷, 不提了, 像炸乾的腐皮卷.......

最後才來的燒雞........巴東炭燒雞, 雞肉嫩, 汁又不錯, 而且真的是即叫即燒, 可能燒雞需時....而且只能按步就班一碟碟上......大家的心情食慾已經減退......心目中只是考慮下場食乜......

總括, 呢度既沙爹味道偏甜, 主菜, 又不外乎是果幾樣野....反而炒飯炒麵較多. 仲要, 黎呢度嘆午茶好了, 一人多......佢地得兩個男丁, 兩個婆婆......真的是招呼唔到的. 昔日是浪漫餐廳, 現在也是浪漫餐廳....幾個朋友...兩個人拍拖來....平日晚上.....仲好. 起碼唔駛.....7pm 已經開始 "百冇".......

中秋前夕正好是休假日, 與友人打算到戶外賞月前到了一到位於沙田大埔道的沙田茵。恕本人孤陋寡聞, 對沙田茵從未聽聞, 友人解釋這是他們"車友"昔日的聚腳點, 不過隨著現在大埔道改道了, 一班車友又成家立室了, 只會偶爾到來回味一番。的確, 這裡充滿著一種懷舊的味道。懷舊, 不在於它的裝修擺設,(因為這裡根本沒有特意裝修甚麼的), 或者就是一份現已罕有的城中鄉土風情味吧。 外面看來以為這裡是像大尾篤路旁食店一樣, 買餐蛋麵、奶油多, 出乎意料的這裡做的是印尼菜。對的, 倒沒有人說做印尼菜的一定要加點紅紅綠綠的印尼裝飾才像樣呀。餐牌上選擇不多, 友人說沙爹是必吃, 好, 就沙爹! 一份柯打10串, 以我們兩個不肚餓的人來說, 這份下午茶是多了點, 老闆娘說可以點6串, 故此我們要了雞、豬、羊各2串。等了又等, 等了又等, 為何沙爹遲遲未送上, 明明只有我們一枱客, 難道師傅都在午睡嗎? 友人見我開始不耐煩, 笑了笑說: 「多等一會, 你會明白的。」這喜歡賣關子的友人說話常常令我更著急! 說時遲那時快, 老闆娘端著一大個鐵爐, 上面放著我們的6串沙爹, 吱吱喳喳的放到我們桌上。光見此景,

已忘了埋單幾錢, 沙田茵留給我的是一個寧靜舒泰的下午配合即叫即燒的美味沙爹, 與摯友把酒談心, 價錢早已變得不重要了。

i came here a few times b4 when i was younger. i was brought here by my parents and dad used to tell me how he and mum came here b4 they got married when they were still just going out. this was one of their favourite places when they were young. so i always wanted to bring babe here. just that when i was brought here, i never needed to bother finding my own way as my dad would drive. so coming here today caused us a little hassle. so we ended up on a taxi from tai wai train station (despite its reasonable walking distance - say 15 mins walk)
after we sat down outdoor, both of us were scratching on arms and legs 'cos those insects normally do find us physically quite attractive
so the waitress offered us the mosquito repellents for us to spray on our limbs, and lit the mosquito coil n placed it under our table. how considerate

we ordered 2 drinks, just ordinary pineapple drink and a soda ice-cream to start off with 'cos of the weather, not that it was that hot today but sitting outside made me wanna chill out with cold drinks.
then we ordered prawn crackers which was nice, as i like eating crunchy stuff. then 5 sticks of beef and 5 sticks of lamb for satay, and gado gado (vegetable salad), and the 巴東辣椒牛肉 (served with rice) for the 2 of us.
everything seems nice, but satay was the best!i haven't come across places with nicer satay in hk so far.n the atmosphere topped it a bit as well. if only we arrived earlier b4 the sun was fully set, we could have enjoyed it more

we walked back to the train station after dinner 'cos we were both full
n it was ok to walk with the sufficient street lights on the way
i surely did have a gd time there. just that it'd be better to get there by cars.
i do recommend this place to ppl who'd wanna stay away from the crowd and enjoy the satay outdoor

此露天茶座, 原來是打印尼食品招牌的, 坐下, 看看環境, 樓頂吊著大風扇, 沒有冷氣, 但一點都不覺得悶熱....難道這就是大自然的感覺吧, 店在山邊, 雖沒有靚景, 但周圍都是青綠一片, 有如坐在森林中的一家茶座一樣, 地方非常之 relax.

天氣熱, 先點下一個大椰青, 冰凍的椰青水, 厚厚的椰青肉, 行到水汪汪, 有這個巨形椰青, 實在是透心涼. 慢慢的喝, 慢慢等汗水收起來.

反正行了一小段路, 而且又是 tea time, 叫多少少野食好播. 既然這裡是沙爹出名, 就不如來個串燒. 餐牌上說是 $90 十串, 問下, 原來最少要叫5串. 於是叫了5串串燒羊肉.

好得意地, 原來這裡的串燒係成個爐上, 渣渣聲, 搽了濃濃燒汁的羊肉串, 未端出來已經聞到香味. 爐底附了一碟仔沙爹醬. 帶著粗粒花生, 充滿花生香的醬, 配上香濃味道的羊肉串, 非常之惹味. (不過怕味濃的人就可能食唔憤). 亦因為是成爐上, 有時不忘再翻多幾翻, 慢慢食. 後來覺得, 燒多幾燒, 令醬汁再乾一點點, 更加香口入味.

慢慢食, 慢慢休息. 5點了, 從大圍鄗村那邊下山. 發現原來又不是那麼偏僻地方. 只是改了道, 比以前難找而已. 下次找十多人, 一齊感受一下沙田昔日的田園風味好唔好. (不過, 天氣涼少少先啦).

一家歷史很久的餐廳。以從大埔道入大圍前必見到此店,尤其在晚上,因為四野無商店,路過時必被店的七彩燈泡吸引。時光像倒流三十年,仍舊有鞦韆及搖板。新一代的朋友可能不認識此店,當年並不是很多人有私家車,駕車入沙田必到此店。這餐廳以印尼菜驰名,因為在户外串燒可連炭爐一起上,是必點的食物,我們買點了巴東椰汁辣椒牛肉和辣椒椰汁炭雞,非常惹味,可以說正宗印尼烹調。但價錢就略貴一些。(現在大埔道已建天橋,出入九龍不需經此段,但仍可由大埔道沙田嶺段驾車到達,亦可在大圍乘往富山64K專綫小巴,到大埔道迴施處下車就是。)
