今次已經係我黎金不煥既第六次金不煥一直係我心目中係:貴但環境正既泰國餐廳所以每次有啲特別日子 我都會提議食金不煥(我個人都好鍾意食泰國菜下)今次媽媽生日 當然要帶佢黎下啲舒服既地方食晚飯 以前金不煥好難book(早2年) 不過而家竟然即日book到。。金不煥既風光不再我地叫左好多野小食1. 泰式豬頸肉每次必叫 佢個份量超大 可以當主食 肉質肥瘦適中 一啲都唔會乾 配上佢個酸辣汁 無得彈2. 泰式生蝦又係每次必叫 爽口既大生蝦 加一片蒜 一粒辣椒 係滿足既味道 每次食一隻都覺得好唔夠3.泰式魷魚 媽媽最愛 又係大大隻 燒得好香口4. 炸蝦餅 新鮮炸好熱辣辣蝦餅 每一啖充滿蝦味 非常好食5.蛋+蠔(忘記了全名)鐵板上既 每粒蠔都脹卜卜 好鮮甜6.泰式炒金邊粉好食不過稍為細碟7. 芒果糯米飯 (小)細既份量都唔細 仲好好食熱熱既糯米飯配上凍芒果 配上我地自配既朱古力牌haha! 變左生日蛋糕最後每人$200到 其實媽媽生日呢個價錢都算唔貴 而且啲食物質素好高 環境舒服 值!我肯定會黎第七次哈哈如果有membership高好

3.泰式魷魚
媽媽最愛 又係大大隻 燒得好香口
4. 炸蝦餅
新鮮炸好熱辣辣蝦餅 每一啖充滿蝦味 非常好食
5.蛋+蠔(忘記了全名)鐵板上既 每粒蠔都脹卜卜 好鮮甜
6.泰式炒金邊粉
好食不過稍為細碟
7. 芒果糯米飯 (小)
細既份量都唔細 仲好好食
熱熱既糯米飯配上凍芒果

配上我地自配既朱古力牌haha! 變左生日蛋糕

最後每人$200到 其實媽媽生日呢個價錢都算唔貴 而且啲食物質素好高 環境舒服 值!
我肯定會黎第七次哈哈

其實已經是第二次去金不換 稍微瀏覽下顧客群 這家店除了有年輕客人 也🈶️很多年紀偏大的老人家顧客 說明也是一家老少皆宜家庭朋友聚會的泰式主題餐廳 因為本人比較喜歡泰國cuisine 而且每次去都點一些經典菜目 比如咖哩蟹 (一生至愛) 老公鍾意明爐魚🐟 和椰青 首先說說咖哩蟹🦀 整體的質數都不錯 但是如果再辣一點 更能夠把咖喱和蟹的風味融合得更好 加了蛋花的咖哩蟹汁是我最愛 每次都可以吃上兩大碗淋上咖喱汁🍛飯 蟹肉肉質肥美 喜歡海鮮的朋友必備之選 作為一個嘴刁的食客希望改進的地方就是再多D辣 多D椰香 明爐魚的話我們選擇的是烏頭與青檸的搭配 烏頭骨頭少 肉質嫩滑 今次的烏頭比較大 比較難入味 但是搭配金不換的辣醬還是讓老公吃🉐️囫圇吞棗 小點的話我們選擇拼盤 但是我覺得如果要點小點 只點炸蝦餅就可以了 蝦肉很鮮 外脆裡嫩 魚餅和茶葉包起來的雞肉就遜色很多 甜品🍮我們點了芒果糯米飯 🍚 一上來就是冒著熱氣 十分誘人 糯米➕紫米淋上椰漿 香糯可口 如果覺得膩 搭配一口爽口的芒果 完美的甜品就為美好的晚餐畫上句號 饮品🥥🥥老公好鍾意椰青 今次椰青老了一點 但是還是很好吃 椰味十足又清涼降火的

星期日與姊妹飯聚,選了金不換泰國菜館,話好吃,既然她推薦,不妨一試,起碼有保證食店位於利舞台廣場,店子不很大,裝修有泰國特色,服務員是懂說廣東話的泰國人,穿上泰國服飾,笑客親切,感覺舒服,同香港食店服務比較,有點距離吧!金不換上菜速度很快,而且物量不少,點了泰菜必叫冬蔭公湯,酸辣鳳爪,泰式炒飯,咸魚炒菜苗,炸蝦餅,三個人吃得很飽。冬蔭公湯:極似泰國味道,而且足料酸辣鳳爪:酸酸甜甜很開胃,嫌汁不夠泰式炒飯:飯炒到粒粒分明,惟味道不足咸魚炒菜苗:較硬身炸蝦餅:不夠彈牙金不換泰國菜館,服務人員有禮,食物都好吃,價錢略貴,但如果要尋找泰國味道,是不錯選擇!

食店位於利舞台廣場,店子不很大,裝修有泰國特色,服務員是懂說廣東話的泰國人,穿上泰國服飾,笑客親切,感覺舒服,同香港食店服務比較,有點距離吧!

金不換上菜速度很快,而且物量不少,點了泰菜必叫冬蔭公湯,酸辣鳳爪,泰式炒飯,咸魚炒菜苗,炸蝦餅,三個人吃得很飽。


冬蔭公湯:極似泰國味道,而且足料

金不換泰國菜館,服務人員有禮,食物都好吃,價錢略貴,但如果要尋找泰國味道,是不錯選擇!

三數損友又再聚頭,今回選吃泰國菜,一致決定到穩陣之選開業多年的金不換。到泰國菜館指定動作先來一客冬陰功湯。湯底烯杰得宜,喝時散發出陣陣香料味,蝦肉爽口入味,磨菇也不少,水準之作。炒金邊粉吸睛度極高,以一個蛋網包著,未食已是萬分期待。可是切開蛋網,連同金邊粉一起吃時,卻吃不出多少蛋香。金邊粉沒有辣勁,反而茄汁的味更出。海鮮料份量亦足,總括而言是一碟不差的茄汁海鮮炒粉。我們特意留肚吃甜品,例牌每人兩件椰汁糕。椰香豐郁,卻不會太甜,質感一點不實,乃是我們的至愛。吃了多次的金不換,依然保持水準。

泰國菜以酸、辣、鹹、甜、苦五味的平衡為特點。味蕾同時感受五味,令人難忘,乍驚還喜。
人均200多元令人大快朵頤,在服務殷勤,座位舒適泰式餐廳是值得。
以我所知,銅鑼灣泰國菜有18間,此間較正路,家人說要再來。要新潮,浪漫,交際的,去18巷,拳王,green house吧。

一早訂好七點晚飯,一家準時到餐廳,等了二十分鐘,我跟接待員提議下次可否訂枱時告訴我們七點半才到,接待員沒有接受提議之餘,還對我們說:等唔到就唔好等。金不換本身食物可以,餐廳內服務員態度亦唔差,但可惜前枱接待員態度非常惡劣,不接受客人意見之餘,還對客人非常無禮。希望管理層可以多加留意改善前枱接待員工作態度。

一個很有錢既fd黎香港探我 佢自己揀左尼間餐廳 然之後拉我尼個學生一齊食⋯我地叫左四個餸 每一個餸價錢都係138-200中間青芒果沙律(138蚊): 味道唔錯 酸酸甜甜的很爽口咖哩鱔球: 咖喱汁很濃 味道不錯 配一碗飯很正 但鱔球好似就一半 係一條條既 很腍 口感唔覺得係鱔球冬陰功湯(細): 味道濃 但是太鹹 裏面有一點海鮮同蘑菇 燒牛肉配生菜: 好似係最貴既 但很一半 牛肉唔腍 不好咀嚼 而且無咩味道 總之 尼間餐廳有咁貴既必要 雖然味道總體ok 但都未至於去到咁貴 兩人一共673蚊 人均340蚊左右對我學生來講有d誇張⋯但對於我果個有錢既朋友 無咩所謂因為佢有錢 所以說尼間餐廳食既就係檔次 就係服務囉

總之 尼間餐廳有咁貴既必要 雖然味道總體ok 但都未至於去到咁貴 兩人一共673蚊 人均340蚊左右
對我學生來講有d誇張⋯但對於我果個有錢既朋友 無咩所謂因為佢有錢 所以說尼間餐廳食既就係檔次 就係服務囉

A friend of mine was moving back to the US and a six of us decided to treat her to lunch. Just one more gathering with our gang of friends. She chose Thai and Sweet Basil Thai was the restaurant she chose. This restaurant is actually a place I like as well ... the food here really isn't spicy. At all.

Arriving on a Sunday, it was actually pretty quiet. Considering this is a weekend in Causeway Bay, being rather empty was a bit alarming. The restaurant had a very nice layout. Design was tastefully Thai. Menu was in English, Thai and Chinese with the odd photo. The staff immediately poured hot water for us without asking if we wanted hot or cold water. When I requested cold, all my friends followed, too. It's really hot out. No  one wanted boiling water. Then the annoying thing is, when we received cold water, they kept refilling our glasses with boiling water. I found this a bit annoying. It's good they refilled glasses of water but we had cold water and want cold water. Not boiling.

Combination Platter ($268). This included three each of shrimp cakes, fish cakes, chicken in pandan leaves and spring rolls. The appetizers were a ok. Nothing really stood out. Everything seemed alright. Though the fish cake seemed to have way too much flour.

Grilled Pork Neck ($118). The pork neck was moist. There was a nice bit of sweet basting on top that tasted a bit like honey? Not too bad but it felt like eating char siu. It came with a dipping sauce that tasted like fish sauce. It was not spicy at all.

Fried Tung Choi with with Shrimp Paste ($78). Usually most Thai places make this dish spicy and strong with the taste of shrimp paste so it's also super salty. But there wasn't a lot of shrimp paste added so it wasn't fragrant enough. It also wasn't spicy at all. Pretty good for us girls who wanted some veggies.

Tom Yum Seafood Soup ($238 for large). My friends shared this as I feared it would be too spicy for me. However, boyfriend gave me the prawn as he's avoiding shellfish and shrimp. The soup, in my opinion, wasn't too spicy. I could actually eat the prawn without downing water. It was a bit on the tart side. The prawn didn't taste fresh.

Chicken Satay ($138 for six sticks). Quite possibly the worst satay I've ever had in Hong Kong. They were dry and tasteless. Dipping into the satay sauce, was even worse. The sauce didn't taste like satay at all but more like a watered down version of it.

Yellow Curry with Beef ($118). The curry sauce was actually pretty good. Rich and flavorful. The only thing was the beef was a bit tough and chewy. I think most of the beef was left behind while we dipped into the curry.

Garlic Bread ($52).  We ordered a round of garlic bread to soak up the curry sauce. Garlic bread was just dripping in butter and garlic. I think I would have preferred it to be just plain bread. But it tasted pretty good anyways.

A very mainstream choice for Thai where majority of the food isn't very spicy. This appeals to more a mainstream audience and that is what they are aiming for. Prices are a bit expensive than more authentic Thai places but then the setting here is a lot more comfortable. They also serve shark fin so you can guess what type of customers they are aiming for.
