To encourage eatery outlets to reduce food waste at source together with customers through offering portioned meals and adopting food waste reduction measures, the Environmental Protection Department has launched the “Food Wise Eateries” Scheme. Participants will be awarded with a Food Wise Eateries (FWE) accreditation status if they comply with the assessment criteria and will be granted with the FWE Logo and Stickers for displaying in the premises and their promotion for public identification. Applications are accepted all year round and are FREE of charge.

To promote a new salt and sugar reduction (RSS) dietary culture and living style to the people of Hong Kong, the Environment and Ecology Bureau, the Committee on Reduction of Salt and Sugar in Food and the Centre for Food Safety of the Food and Environmental Hygiene Department have launched the "Less-Salt-and-Sugar Restaurants Scheme" ("Scheme"). Restaurants participated in the Scheme will offer less salt or sugar options to the consumer or even tailor-make less salt or sugar dishes in designated restaurants. Participating restaurants will be granted with the Scheme Labels for displaying in the premises for public identification. 天水圍的食肆選擇不多,全都是大集團的例牌餐廳。食厭了快餐店,一於試一下港式餐廳。午市除炒粉麵飯和燒味以外,還有台式擔擔煎旦飯和星州喇沙,聽說這喇沙不太辣,便二話不説點了這麵及冰鎮奶茶和福建炒飯。喇沙湯帶微黃,一點鮮甜味或椰奶香也沒有!魚片非常薄,沒有味道,兩隻蝦明顯過熟,豆卜也很鞋口,而米線林得嚇死人。相反,友人的福建炒飯則恰如其份,配料充足,口感濕中帶鮮味。

屋企人提前同我慶祝生日,本來去元朗,因阿媽感冒未好改去銀座,揀了新開太興,我們大約7:45去到門口,冇咩人等位,只是等了5分鐘,店員安排入座,安排我們坐梳化卡位,就點了2個小菜,另加19元有白飯/飲品,這間太興可能講求健康,味道偏淡,屋企人直情話冇味,我覺得可以接受,座位設計幾舒適,3個人吃了180元,價錢合理,我覺得整體一般,這間太興不算特別好吃亦唔算差,服務又好好,店員主動幫客人寫單,送野好快,不用客人追單,這個是幾好地方,環境其實幾好,食物水準只是一般味道:太興而家講求健康,味道較淡,我覺得都OK服務:我覺得幾好環境:這裡都幾好價錢:180元,平均60元一個番吃:未必再來

最近銀座有好幾間餐廳陸續開張,早前去過香港達人吃早餐,當時樓上的太興和拉麵店仍未開幕,得悉已開幕後趁平日跟家人一起嚐嚐新店!在平日晚飯時段也不乏食客等候,尤其是旁邊的拉麵店,相信跟天水圍缺乏日本料理選擇大有關係。一行三人共點了三款小菜,首先是我提議的菠蘿咕嚕肉($64)。後來查看照片才發現手震了,請多多見諒!伴有菠蘿、青瓜、洋蔥和木耳,咕嚕肉酸酸甜甜,肉質軟腍,有咬口,合格水準。第二道菜是北菇豆腐魚柳煲($71)。這個煲沒有讓我們失望,來到時非常熱辣,煲用上木盒盛載,感覺較為安全。煲內的材料很入味,最喜歡是魚柳,熱噴噴,咬下去很鬆軟,夠香口。當然不少得點一份蔬菜呢!我們選了滑蛋蝦西蘭花($71),配搭較不肥膩。滑蛋滲進西蘭花內,吃起來清新,不過不失。最後還追加了一份乳豬達人($64)。色澤不俗,但質素依然使人失望,皮脆肉不會太肥,但卻沒有特別好味的感受,燒味類水準普通。 上次在其他分店時已覺得太興的燒味一般,希望店方可以提升燒味的質素,不然會被小菜水準蓋過主打。但值得一讚的是,員工的服務質素很好,很有耐性且會主動為客人推介!
