I am writing to express my deep dissatisfaction with the service my friends and I experienced during our visit to your establishment last night.
We arrived for dinner at your restaurant at 8:16pm and were dining comfortably when, at 9:27pm, one of your wait staff approached our table to inform us that we would need to vacate the premises by 9:45pm, as the restaurant was set to close at 10pm. Crucially, this demand was directed solely at our table and was not communicated to any other customers who were still actively dining and drinking.
Just 5 minutes later, at 9:32pm, the same staff member returned to our table and once again pressed us to eat faster and leave by the 9:45pm deadline, despite the fact that we had nearly finished our meals and were simply enjoying the remainder of our drinks and conversation. We found this behavior to be deeply offensive and a gross violation of the reasonable expectations one should have when dining at an establishment of your caliber.
To single out our table in this manner, while allowing other patrons to dine unmolested, was an appalling display of unprofessionalism and discourtesy. The repeated disruptions to our meal served only to undermine our overall experience and left us feeling decidedly unwelcome in your restaurant.
Then, at 9:42pm - a full 3 minutes before the arbitrary 9:45pm deadline imposed upon us - your staff member announced to the entire establishment that it was "time for cleansing" and that all customers were required to leave immediately. This was an egregious and unreasonable demand, made a full 18 minutes in advance of your stated closing time.
The treatment we received from your staff has left me and my dining companions with a profoundly negative impression of TERA. Such blatant disregard for the comfort and reasonable expectations of your patrons is wholly unacceptable, and I expect a formal written apology, as well as an explanation as to how you intend to address this matter and ensure that no other customers are subjected to such unprofessional conduct in the future.
