店外有一列向街的木桌,店內亦有兩列相類似的。Thainan Chicken 這邊不能點酒精飲品,但Grill 那邊是買得到的。只是不同食牌的引伸意義,但在Grill那邊買、在Thainan Chicken 這邊的門外座位吃,相信是沒問題的(這就是灰色地帶了)。不是要喝酒的話,坐在店內當然舒適一點。光猛整潔,沒有蘭桂坊的喧鬧,卻有預備夜遊的玩味和讓人放鬆的氛圍。

令我蠢蠢欲試的,不是Grill 那邊的串燒,而是這些不太飽肚但惹味非常的泰式小食。好拌飯的咖喱、作餸的去骨泰南雞、生菜包、鳳爪和青木瓜手撕雞沙律都有。五六十元的價位,和九龍城泰菜餐廳的不相伯仲,但這兒是舖租貴很多的黃金地段,可以花上九龍城的價、佔上中環的地舖座位,夫復何求。

隔壁即點即烤的串燒,肉類和蔬菜類都是十餘廿元一根,最貴(和偏貴)的是大花蝦和白鱔。鱔是我吃串燒必點的,可惜這次到訪兩種海鮮都沒有,幸運地讓我省一下錢。

串燒在隔壁準備,小食和半隻雞先奉桌。任得別人怎說這些是阿婆放進口裡吐骨才能去骨的泰式鳳爪,是我最愛的泰國菜式之一。愛它的爽脆、愛它的似斷還未斷的筋,一口肆意的咬下去,不用顧著吮骨頭,是吃無骨鳳爪的痛快之處。沾滿酸辣的芫茜醬 (spicy coriander sauce),醒胃非常。不算是很吸味,但蘸了不少醬汁後,夠味有餘。

串燒中特意沒有點豬頸肉,因為點上了這客沙律。跟鳳爪的調味相似,但辣椒放得重手了,友人沒有我般嗜辣而要灑手投降。豬頸肉的份量十足,多達七至八片,烤得跟串燒的同樣肉香和脂香豐腴。最美味的當然是轉角位,270度都是烤過的焦香,極為惹味。烤的火喉剛好,表面帶焦香但肉汁豐盈,半肥瘦的嫩滑感發揮得淋漓盡致。

起初還怕吃不完半隻雞,但其實沒有廣東燒味中的白切雞般大,二至三人有能力完成的。又一懶人必點的去骨泰菜,本就是像白切雞般沒什麼調味,室溫的奉桌,底下墊了些我甚為欣賞、只是白灼的椰菜。喜歡吃雞皮的應該不會吐出來,皮和肉都相當滑溜,就連雞胸位置都無嚡口的跡象。佐以甜調的黑色豉油和泰式酸甜醬,在滑溜的口感上為雞的鮮嫩提味。個人喜歡蘸豉油,雖然是偏甜的那種,但總是覺得普通泰式酸甜醬是配烤香過的肉類較相襯。

串燒一下子就來了大部分,全部都以黑色紙袋分開盛著,連同四款醬汁從隔壁端過來。其實有點不環保,不知是否因為牌照而在執行上必定要這樣做,錢不就是同一個店主賺的嗎,可以省一點包裝也無傷大雅啊。

即點即烤固然是吃串燒的基本條件,其次就是調味。這家勝在提供多款醬汁,哪個醬配哪款串燒是沒有絕對,不過個人認為青咖喱配雞肉或豬肉、酸辣的芫茜醬配魚餅是較合適的。當你把醬汁排成一列,很難不在吃下一口串燒之前,試蘸多於一款醬汁,試這又試哪,看看火花如何,因此不用局限在串燒跟醬汁間的搭配。

雞肉 $15豬肉 $15 - 這是後來追加的,終於不是一個袋放一根串燒,亦意味著兩者共享一樣的醬汁。其他串燒奉桌時都是乾身的,唯獨是這兩根是預先浸在酸辣的芫茜醬,稍在不慎把串燒袋倒側,醬汁會流到桌上去。

這兩款肉串神奇地跟這款在泰式沙律中出現和當道的醬汁相襯,不用多蘸醬汁也行。雞肉略帶薄皮,烤香的脂肪極度邪惡,但薄得很難跟肉分開、繼而吐出,令人似拒還迎的連皮吃下。少許的燶邊,為嫩滑的雞肉增添不少味道層次。酸辣的芫茜醬在沙律上風芒盡現,反而在串燒上是恰如其分的配角,酸以解膩,但辣就不太著跡了。

或許不需要特別的包裝、新奇的食材配搭,價格親民的泰式小食和串燒在蘭桂坊的中心點自有留人處。十餘廿元一根,點上十根才是酒吧中一杯喝兩口便完的雞尾酒的價錢,性價比顯而易見。無論是午間來吃個快飯,喝酒前打個底,或是喝酒後代替到翠華吃早餐「照妖鏡」,這家主打速食泰菜的小店不難在這黃金地段立足。依舊吃到Grill 那邊的串燒,現在更是有位坐和提供更多小食和飯類,難有不造訪的理由,就算不是酒前酒後都可以來一趟啊。

Skewers bought at the Grill shop next door can be consumed here with comfortable seating. In addition to this, there are carbohydrates available, such as skewers and chicken with rice. To neutralise the grease and make myself feel more balanced, veggie and fruity items like pineapple, corn and asparagus are my usual picks. However, pineapple I had this time wasn't grilled much, with 3 cubes remaining its fruit state, seemingly not having any trace of grilling. Corn and asparagus are nevertheless up to quality and expectation, mainly because of their succulent state and delectable aroma from the grill.

泰式串燒配炒飯及雜菜,呢個組合正啊,又可以食串燒又可以食炒飯,一次過滿足哂兩個願望,串燒有豬牛雞各一串,串雞嘅嫩滑程度真係可以媲美個泰南雞架,做串燒可以燒得咁滑,認真抵讚,而串牛肉亦都完全冇筋,仲充滿牛味添,勁鍾意佢串燒底下嗰啲椰菜,可以有啲菜食下,無咁覺得油膩,而個炒飯入面混和咗好多我至愛嘅蔥粒,令到成個飯都夠哂香口。

睇黎下次再去老蘭 happy hour 之前都可以叫定媽子留飯聽日帶 lu 。

來到蘭桂坊,在某個路口聞到很香的串燒味,行上前再看看,有個很大很sharp的logo寫住GRILL,色水字型都很有芭提雅布吉夜市感覺!朋友見我咁大反應,就滔滔不絕地說這間近期很出名,不過今日我們吃隔離的THAINAN,因為除了可以點THAINAN食物外,也可點GRILL串燒,在THAINAN坐著等吃便可!聽到這麼好服務,心想食物一定很貴!但看看menu發現又不是喎!因為我們打算留肚試串燒,所以在THAINAN只點了去骨泰南雞和串燒炒飯。我們點的是1/4size,兩人吃剛剛好!這個去骨泰南雞是完全去骨的,所以大啖大啖吃也不怕。泰南雞雞肉很嫩滑,再點泰式醬汁,很好吃!另外廚師在泰南雞墊了菜,除了有效吸油外,清清地可以平衡返點了泰式醬汁的泰南雞串燒有豬肉,牛肉和雞肉。每串都非常香口,肉亦很嫩,不會燒過龍,而且肉沒有脂肪,吃得更開心另外,串燒下同樣墊了菜吸油,不錯至於個炒飯,有少少辣,不過不嬲唔食辣的我,都可以吃到半個飯,整體不錯!其實本來我們想試青咖哩牛腩飯,但我們點的時候已經賣哂!看著隔離位的情侶吃得很滋味,我都很吃呀唯有下次早少少來吧這個是泰式魚餅串燒,幾有魚味,而且很彈牙,不錯不錯!魚

我們點的是1/4size,兩人吃剛剛好!

這個去骨泰南雞是完全去骨的,所以大啖大啖吃也不怕。

泰南雞雞肉很嫩滑,再點泰式醬汁,很好吃!

另外廚師在泰南雞墊了菜,除了有效吸油外,清清地可以平衡返點了泰式醬汁的泰南雞

串燒有豬肉,牛肉和雞肉。

每串都非常香口,肉亦很嫩,不會燒過龍,而且肉沒有脂肪,吃得更開心


另外,串燒下同樣墊了菜吸油,不錯


至於個炒飯,有少少辣,不過不嬲唔食辣的我,都可以吃到半個飯,整體不錯!
其實本來我們想試青咖哩牛腩飯,但我們點的時候已經賣哂!

看著隔離位的情侶吃得很滋味,我都很吃呀
唯有下次早少少來吧

這個是泰式魚餅串燒,幾有魚味,而且很彈牙,不錯不錯!

魚餅加了蔥和辣,再用bbq整,少少辣,很惹味!

這個是白鱔串燒,勁勁勁期待,也沒教我失望

最後是雞翼串,雞翼size中等,可以接受。

雞翼上加了蒜蓉燒,又是無得輸系列,非常香口!

這裡食物不錯,侍應也很有禮貌,如果鋪頭再大d就更好了

今日去咗中環呢頭返工 ,放工嘅時候個肚已經打曬鼓。一行出黎就見到呢一間鋪頭, 睇見個menu係主町泰國嘢 ,啱曬我口味。入到去叫咗四分一隻海南雞, 豬頸肉泰式沙律,之後仲發覺可以叫隔離舖嘅串燒(不過後來望下原來係同一間鋪頭嘅)於是乎嗌咗個串燒牛仔骨,同埋串燒珍寶大蝦。先嚟咗海南雞,望落去鮮黃色,感覺十分之新鮮,雞絕對係嫰滑嘅,同埋已經去曬骨啖啖肉 有雞嘅鮮味 鮮嫩,仲有兩隻醬畀你點, 好味道。之後就嚟咗個泰式豬頸肉沙律,豬頸肉嘅數目超乎我想像,而且都係燒出嚟㗎, 燒到啱啱好十分惹味。 沙律就係辣辣地,酸酸地 個酸辣度啱啱就係我嘅口味, 食到十分之開胃。 跟住落嚟就係串燒牛仔骨 ,廚師落左啲甜甜地嘅醬,應該係一啲特製醬汁 ,成塊牛仔骨肉汁仲鎖咗喺啲牛肉入面, 非常好味。跟住就係珍寶大蝦,一攞出嚟都嚇親,真係好大隻,而且非常之香,啲蝦肉唔會乾爭爭,又有咬口,隻蝦係十分新鮮,呢間野下次要再次。

食店裝修簡單 坐位偏少 其實都真係幾快餐feel, 而可以點既食物唔多 有幾款小食同飯set , 但只要好味少唔係問題

海南雞賣相好靚 , 雞皮超爽滑 雞肉亦十分嫩滑, 而雞翼位都去左骨 十分細心 飯係黃飯 有少少椰子既香同甜味 口感比較軟熟 配以甜豉油 或者 酸辣醬一齊連雞肉食 拍得住我喺星馬泰食既好食level , 值得點!

賣相都係唔錯 串燒有三串 分別係豬牛雞, 大大串 落足料 當然 豬肉夠林闊身但偏薄切, 雞肉軟滑彈牙 , 而牛肉切得比較厚且十分juicy 三條串燒都落左好多香料去燒 點以專為串燒整成既泰式satay 醬 食落去好惹味 而飯係炒過 落左葱花 辣椒 等調味 雖然唔夠上述既辣醬勁 但都有番甘上下辣 , 辣得黎十分香 飯亦炒得好乾身 . 十分出色
