星期日無乜事做,搵間近近地嘅酒店食個tea,through openrice book 枱有折喔😋有代客泊車服務,喺度食嘢可以免費泊車,都幾好我地book咗枱,所以有窗邊位坐,環境其實唔錯,遊客係多,不過唔算嘈。空間感都ok,不會太迫。我地叫咗墨西哥脆片,Fish and Chips 同Marriott Burger,份量好多,兩個人食完全食唔曬,叫兩款一定夠。好脆好香口,有牛油果醬同酸忌廉(我估係😅) ,淡淡地都可以。份量好多喔Burger 好大個,佢有得揀幾多成熟,我叫5成,不過嚟到都係7成以上,不過唔緊要,都係好味嘅,生菜蕃茄嗰啲好新鮮,唔錯。有折的話以酒店下午茶嚟講係不錯嘅選擇👍🏻

Burger 好大個,佢有得揀幾多成熟,我叫5成,不過嚟到都係7成以上,不過唔緊要,都係好味嘅,生菜蕃茄嗰啲好新鮮,唔錯。

有折的話以酒店下午茶嚟講係不錯嘅選擇👍🏻

既上次已介紹樓上的天翔吧後,今日介紹萬豪酒店的另一間餐廳就是在一入門口對正的酒廊,每逢到這家酒店總能帶給我一個舒適又快樂的感覺,而且地方遠離市區,可以暫時逃離工作上的煩惱,很可惜的是餐廳外的景觀已經不是一望無際的海景,而是滿佈泥沙的地盤以及我們未來經濟的接駁樞紐—港珠澳大橋先點了一個蔬菜棒作頭盤, 味道尚算可以而且都算新鮮再來一個點心拼盤作午餐,份量的確太小,過下口癮也可以,但如果要飽肚恐怕你要叫兩份這個地方一般服務都非常好,而且人流不算太強,價錢雖貴,但我還是會多多來光顧

We really liked The Lounge and had our supper there two nights in a row. 因為方便去昂坪360所以揀咗依間Hotel High Tea同慶祝生日。環境寬敞可以hea一個下晝。一般High Tea都係得幾舊嘢攝牙罅都唔夠啦。但依間就咁睇都飽。先食暖暖鬆餅配三款醬唔會太單調。頂層嘅包有煙三文魚,牛肉同開邊蕃茄仔toppings。味道一般。中層係幾款甜點。聖誕帽芝士餅口感軟滑。另外有啲正常朱古力蛋糕同怪味撻。特別要highlight係個點心籠咁樣嘅脆撻。裝住海鮮嘅配料。但個汁竟然係星洲炒米味。夠獨特我鐘意。底層係啲甜到爆炸嘅蛋糕同朱古力同糖。仲有啲薑餅人同聖誕樹曲奇。味道普通。不過聖誕版High Tea。賣相都加分嘅。最後緊係要有個生日蛋糕先似樣。檸檬芝士餅。唔同出要面實的的嘅芝士餅。佢都係比較軟滑唔會太漏。有淡淡檸檬味中和返幾清新。總括嚟講係抵食又飽肚嘅Afternoon High Tea。可以過一個悠閒嘅下午都不錯。ps: 服務員都好很幫忙影相。

薯條自不然會引來為食小孩;為食囝囝吃到連鼻樑也髒髒的,十分搞笑,不過更難忘是妹妹說出「飛機走左啦」,喊得超假啊!

飽足的下午茶加一不過 $314,相當抵食。下次再來再試三層架下午茶~

I went with my husband and we ordered the high tea set for two.  We had made reservations as we were going on a public holiday.    The set comes with sweet and savoury items (more sweet stuff than savoury).  Most of the items come in threes, so, honestly, it might be better for this set to be shared among three or four people.   Apparently, they change the tea set menu every two months.  When I went, there was a focus on honey in the dishes, although I couldn't really tell. 

The food was delicious.  The smoked salmon open mini-sandwich was very generous with the salmon and it was so yummy!  The springrolls were served at room temperature.  Everything else was sweet.

There were chocolates (good - not waxy); small jellies (which seemed to have rhubarb on top - fantastic); mini apple-crumble pies (amazing!); scones (really good - and high quality cream and strawberry and blueberry jams - although I like my scones with a slightly harder texture); cheesecake (also really good, with a thin, burnt-sugar topping); macarons (slightly dry but I like them that way); chocolate chip cookies, and chocolate cake (I haven't tried them - we were so full, we had to stop!).  It was the rum baba that breached my sugar intake limit and caused me to stop.  

The service was courteous and professional.  We actually had to ask for a take-away container.  (I don't like spending that much money on food and then leaving half of it.)  We got a free hot-water refill of our teapots, which was nice, because the individual tea pots are not large.  There are English-style teas, darjeeling, herbal infusions, as well as Chinese teas to choose from.  I really liked that the tea menu was so large.

They also do snacks and light meals and drinks, but we stuck to the tea menu.  I've had a hot toddy here once before and it was also excellent.

I'll definitely bring visitors here in the future. I've taken friends to the Bistro and an uncle to the Man Ho Restaurant, and they were all fabulous.  This is why I decided to go to The Lounge for my anniversary celebration.

同太座去博覽館睇show,原想去試"萬豪"嘅中菜廳,點知好旺,爆晒棚,連西餐廳(天際咖啡室)都無位,侷住簡單D係呢間食D簡單食物,入到去竟然仲比到window seat我地,真驚喜。坐低睇menu,原來仲可以叫西餐廳嗰邊D嘢過嚟食,一次過可以試兩間食肆,都OK喇。因為當晚時間緊迫,所以只叫咗西餐廳嗰邊的辛辣咖哩羊,酒廊呢邊的海鮮炒飯同一杯法國紅酒。法國紅酒係House-Wine,開咗應該一段時間,攤得足,入口果味濃,偏酸(個人喜歡木味多D),順滑,都可以。辛辣咖哩羊,原來已跟印度薄餅㗎,用的是紅咖哩,辣味偏重,反而更能溶匯咖哩的香味,可惜完全食唔到羊的羶味,但炆得得很淋,仍算不錯;跟上嘅烤餅熱騰騰,內軟棉而面香略脆,點上咖哩汁食真一絕。海鮮炒飯,海鮮有鮮帶子,鮮蝦仁和蟹子,另加蛋白和菜粒,料不少,飯夠干身又唔油,入口有口感兼且具有層次感變化,但調味偏濃,亦算正。

下午茶的款式大概兩個月就換一次,以保持新鮮感,而這期由8月2日到9月29日就推出以琴酒為主題的清新下午茶。琴酒就是我們常常聽到的Gin酒,而Gin酒之中以蘇格蘭釀製的亨利爵士Gin酒被喻為工序最複雜的,在蒸餾時加入保加利亞玫瑰花花瓣和荷蘭青瓜,令製成品酒香獨特,味道清新,而為了配合主題,這一系列的甜品裡都會有琴酒、玫瑰花和青瓜的元素在其中。

夏日琴酒特調。侍應首先送來一小壼淺綠色的特飲,當中混合了亨利爵士琴酒、伏特加、洋甘菊茶、tonic、青瓜及薄荷。酒味不算太濃烈,挺容易入口,而且只有一小杯作為前奏,因此不用擔心喝醉。

鹹點有五款,分別是三款open-faced的煙三文魚配辣根醬、忌廉芝士配日本醃青瓜和水牛芝士配蕃茄三文治、紅綠吉士餡餅和香脆素春卷。最特別的是紅綠吉士餡餅,以紅燈籠椒與青瓜做成蕃茄味的餡料,再放進威化紙做成的酥皮裡,酥皮香脆鬆化,濃濃的蕃茄香很開胃。三款open-faced三文治中我最喜歡忌廉芝士配日本醃青瓜,看賣相還以為很普通,只有三片薄薄的青瓜與橄欖,但吃起來是出奇的清新,而且麵包面塗了我喜歡的忌廉芝士,整體味道很好。

松子青瓜蛋糕、熱情果椰子條、琴酒青檸啫喱、杏仁蛋糕、朱古力松露蛋糕、玫瑰泡芙、玫瑰花莓子慕絲、牛奶朱古力榛子條、藍莓檸檬撻、每款甜品都各具香味和特色,不過最令人欣賞是它們的精緻設計,好像牛奶朱古力榛子條,加上玫瑰花瓣作點綴,而且全部都是一口大小,可以淺嚐到其味又不會太漏,十分有心思。

原味及提子鬆餅和自家製忌廉及玫瑰花醬。鬆餅看起來跟坊間見到的不同,顏色比較淡,質感比較像蛋糕,濕潤一點而不會太乾,上面還灑了一些糖霜。鬆餅配上奶味香濃的clotted cream與草莓醬是無懈可擊的,另外的玫瑰花醬也是自家製產品,淡淡粉紅色很漂亮,製作時糕餅師加入了果膠,所以質感有點像啫喱,不太甜而味道清新。

好客的糕餅主廚更為我做了兩款馬卡龍,一款是黑色,另一款是Tiffany blue,Tiffany blue的馬卡龍不常見,女孩子看到都一定很喜歡。黑色的是竹炭,餡料裡加入了黑松露,而Tiffany blue其實是蜜糖口味,兩款的外殼口感脆脆,中間的餡料綿密不過甜,當然最大的賣點還是Tiffany blue其漂亮的顏色,看著也覺得開心。

餐廳酒廊設計簡約,梳化位令人坐得舒適,由於全是落地玻璃,直接用日光,到傍晚時分才用燈光,橙色嘅燈光加上玻璃鏡面反射,成個感覺都唔同晒。而酒廊門口擺放了新春下午茶嘅餐牌和一個樣本,客人可以看完再決定是否選擇這個 High Tea Set。餐廳內人流不太多,以遊客為主,有些在閒聊,有些在打機,有些在閉目養神。

其實新春下午茶 High Tea 係香港天際萬豪酒店為咗迎接蛇年嘅來臨,推出嘅賀年應節美食系列其中之一,其他嘅應節食品就有常見嘅賀年糕點,新春菜式及 XO 醬。新春下午茶 High Tea 和西式嘅 High Tea 一樣,用上三層高嘅金屬架,不過擺放嘅食物就係十多款嘅中式糕點,酥點,鹹點及點心,有『盤滿砵滿,步步高昇』嘅意思。而下午茶更提供精選茗茶供大家選擇,有清香及濃香烏龍茶:大紅袍 (Great Red Robs),烏龍 (Oolong),有綠茶及白茶:洞庭碧螺春 (Bilouchun),銀針白毫 (Silver Needles) 及花香茶:菊普 (Chrysanthemum),茉莉花香片 (Jasmine Green Tea)。

係等待食物嘅時候,我哋兩個都揀咗洞庭碧螺春 (Bilouchun),職員各自奉上一壺茶,係一人一壺,還為我們倒茶。洞庭碧螺春係中國十大名茶之一,係綠茶嘅一種,不過除此之外,我就不太清楚,因為平時少飲茶,沒有太多研究。這杯茶嘅顏色淡黃,很清澈,飲起來香氣濃郁,而味很醇。

轉眼間,新春下午茶 (Fortune High Tea Set) 就放係眼前,又係我哋拍照嘅時候,三層高嘅金屬架,最頂嘅一層有一個小蒸籠,籠內放咗兩款餃,而中間放咗像兩朵花嘅酥點,而另一邊就放咗兩件多士。第二層就放咗兩條錦鯉糕點,笑口棗和油角。最底一層就有炸饅頭,馬仔和楊枝甘露。由於太肚餓,我哋正式開餐喇!

全年好市餃 (Steamed Shrimp dumplings with dried oysters)
大大隻蠔鼓放係餃子上,未食都覺得好吸引!餃子皮係雲吞皮,皮很薄很滑,而餡料係蝦肉,蝦肉彈牙爽口,不錯不錯!蠔鼓好肥大,身圓脹脹的,棕色得來色澤鮮明,食落好有蠔嘅鮮味,好好味,好正!

我哋仲不停 Refill 呢個全年好市餃,我一共食咗 5 隻呀!哈哈!而我們增添嘅全年好市餃,似乎係即場再蒸,熱呼呼的餃子比較軟身,而且蠔鼓個樣唔同咗,無咁脹,而且啲蠔邊會繞起,點解呢兩款蠔唔同樣,有咩分別呢?問咗好多人都未知答案,可能要問番大廚先得。不過食落依然蠔味十足,真係食到停唔到口,係 Refill 嘅必然選擇!

恭喜發財餃 (Steamed chicken dumplings with black mushroom and sea moss)
顧名思義,發財餃就有髮菜,不過最令人印象深刻嘅係長長嘅杞子。恭喜發財餃係用蝦餃皮,橙色嘅餃子有點像金元寶,另外有鮮露荀點綴,賣相也很精緻。餡料係用雞肉和冬菇碎做成,食起來好多汁,加上杞子,髮菜和露荀,味道清新,係 Refill 嘅第二選擇,我食咗兩隻呀。

多福多壽蝦多士 (Deep-fried toast with shrimp mousse in smoked salmon premium xo sauce)
蝦多士很香脆,而多士上大大塊蝦蓉肉係配上天際萬豪酒店自家製嘅煙三文魚 XO 醬。第一次見用煙三文魚做 XO 醬,原來係大廚嘅精心研製,用煙三文魚再加上瑤柱,泰式蝦膏油醬,指天椒同豆瓣醬等配料,果然與別不同。蝦蓉食落好彈牙,加上蝦多士上有芝麻, 再配合淡淡嘅 XO 醬味,很香口惹味,我們也添食咗一次!

笑口常開笑口棗 (Crispy sweetened sesame flour puff)
好耐無食過笑口棗,平時除咗婚宴之外,都唔會特別叫來食。不過新春美食又點少得笑口棗 ,笑口棗上滿佈芝麻,食落好香好鬆化。

今日食嘅甜點都係我平時唔會叫嚟食嘅,馬仔就係其中一樣,用雞蛋,麵粉同蜜糖為主嘅馬仔對我來說吸引力不大,食落甜度適中,不過不失。

黃金滿屋饅頭 (Golden crispy bun served with condensed milk)
金色嘅炸饅頭好吸引,外脆內軟,加埋煉奶一齊食,係最好嘅配搭。

盤滿砵滿甜油角 (Deep-fired peanut dumplings)
油角又係好耐都無食過嘅賀年食品之一,油角皮鬆脆,內裡啖啖粒粒花生芝麻,食落好香口。

花開富貴牡丹酥 (Lotus puff)
橙紅色和黃色嘅酥皮面包住餡料,就好似一個含苞待放嘅花,顏色鮮豔。層層酥皮好鬆化,餡料甜而不油膩。不過我留意到餐牌英文係用 Lotus (蓮花),而唔係用 Peony (牡丹)。

年年有餘椰汁糕 (Chilled coconut pudding)
用椰汁糕製成的立體錦鯉,有『年年有餘,鯉躍龍門』嘅意思, 兩隻錦鯉都做得栩栩如生,意頭十足。椰汁糕很清甜,可以食晒成條錦鯉也唔會濟。

這個新春下午茶意念創新,大廚精心設計合適嘅應節食品和配上好意頭嘅名,很有心思。由於賀年美食大多以煎炸烹調,而且可以獨立擺在架上嘅食物款式可能不多,所以餐牌中無可避免地以炸物為主,一次過食可能會比較油膩,幸好可以配上中國茗茶,中和消滯感覺。值得留意嘅係新春下午茶星期六,日及公眾假期係由下午三點至五點九,五點半就是 Last Order,每位 HK$218,另加一服務費,而且係可以無限量添食架。

總括而言,餐廳環境尚算清靜,服務態度和食物質素也不錯,係週末閒聊嘅好地方。如果有機會都想試佢哋嘅賀年糕點和其他菜式。
