放假到長沙探朋友, 順道出沙灘行下這個沙灘, 夏天會比較多人來到摸蜆 但今日未係時候, 所以人小小, 雖然冷清但輕鬆聽海好舒服有好多人選擇到沙灘邊餐廳, 靜靜地看海但由於朋友居於附近, 她有更好介紹這餐廳位置較入, 望不到海, 顧客較少, 但環境舒適, 食物味道好, 價錢比海邊的當然平一截三個人, 叫左三樣食物shareFish and chips $110大大件炸魚柳, 從外層炸皮都看到加入了香草調味, 再吱檸檬汁, 成件事更fresh薯條好脆, 好香薯仔味 Seafood pasta $125很簡單的名稱, 靈魂在於醬汁, creamy得黎好香朋友真接把剩下的醬汁用來點薯條扁意粉軟硬度適中, 每條都沾上大量醬汁青口，蝦仁，魷魚都得爽口Scalloped Potatoes $58賣賣麻麻, 但原來同味道係兩回事薯仔形狀不規則, 略硬, 但又粉粉地沒估到一口薯仔口感都這麼複雜味道方面, 混入了cream sauce .. 好香若要比錢食景, 我寧願食質素

復活節假期，雖然餐廳有好多人，但無損心情，因為book左枱，一行四人加一隻狗，叫咗以下食物：Sangria: 足料，好快就醉醉地自家製南非香腸：勁大條，可以切開幾個人食。味道好特別，唔錯。炸魚薯條：炸得好好，非常juicy蒜蓉包: 即叫即整，叫咗兩客，夠四個人分有突沙嗲雞串：冇試到。個樣普通。朋友叫咗tapenade, lamb stew 佢話都好好食Garden salad, Greek Salad: ok甜品 Tipsy tart: 落足料，無欺場Mulva tart with caramel sauce：嘩冇得頂！勁好食！想再叫多一件！同行友人生日，請侍應提供爉燭插在蛋糕上，完全無問題。服務一流。

We had a lovely day at the beach and were starving by dinner time. Lower Cheung Sha Wan had limited choices for dining and we opted for The Stoep.Our order: 1/2 order of farm bread 1/2 order of mixed seeds bread Tzatziki sauce a large Greek salad Mixed Braai (with a side salad and Braai potato salad)The bread arrived first and it smelled as it has just been taken out of the oven. 之前都睇左呢度既食評, 都知道對香港人or中國人串, 但無諗到係咁~ 本來都唔想寫, 但都有朋友問我去長沙玩既事, 我覺得都會好多人黎呢度睇. 所以講一下~已經好醒目, 一早book定枱, 我們book晚上8點, 因為就老公晚上黎join我們~7點幾, 老公打電話黎, 話唔識路黎, 因為碼頭無的士坐, 佢為有坐巴士. 落左車又唔識行落黎~咁岩講完呢個電話, 我部電話就無哂電, 比仔仔玩哂o的電~咁諗住, 行入去餐廳, 坐下. 比佢地休息下, 當時我仲未落order, 記住係未落order~同侍應, 電話無電, 可唔可以借電話比我, 我想打電話比我老公, 驚佢唔識路入黎.侍應話ok, 係入面收銀隔離.我行左入去, 手拎起電話筒~個收銀就話~ 係咪無錢埋單呀? 洗唔洗搵人求救呀? 呢度幾多錢姐~ 無錢埋單咪由佢囉~~連個侍應都忍唔住幫我講, 人地未落order架~ 電話無電, 想搵老公咋~個收銀先無聲出~而我係未確定老公黎唔黎到時, 我無講過任何說話~直到我第二次打電話比老公, confirm老公行緊黎, 我先同收銀講, 我剛剛order左, 洗唔洗埋定單呀? (不過我係笑笑口同佢講)但

難得去到大嶼山長沙游水, 見到朋友去過這餐廳, 不妨試試的心態, 一早訂左枱, 去到都全部坐滿人如果早少少入坐可以看到美麗的日落, 這裡環境雖然沒有冷氣, 但不算太熱, outdoor最適合外國人, 連沙灘位置都可以坐。今次一家三口叫左 mixed bbq (一份portion好大份足夠一家三口), 十足炭燒味, garlic bread (非常crispy)同埋lamb curry (不太辣同味道好好), 三樣食物都好出色, 由其side dish 的creamy薯仔真人係超好味。這餐廳是外國人開, 打去訂坐都係以英文為主, 服務都算不錯, 在這個經濟環境, 伙記數量都算多同埋個個都好有禮貌。

So there, this review is long overdue. But we had a lovely visit at Lantau's 'The Stoep.' The food was quite good and a beach-front setting is an experience in itself. We booked this restaurant becos of the memory of a restaurant with the same name at the nearby area some 15 years ago. The restaurant has clearly been sold since and moved to another location.First of all, the food. It's rather average, altho the Farmhouse bread was nice & soft. 新年假期帶囡囡到 Lantau 探朋友，然後到長沙玩沙看日落，隨便跑進一間餐廳醫肚，真是沒有甚麽期望，怎知一試難忘，遲些天氣暖些一定會再去，最開心是囡囡可以和餐廳的狗狗玩。餐廳提供地中海及南非菜，沒有中文餐牌，有些英文更是不知怎發音？食客大多是外國人，起初很擔心是否進了黑店。幸好老闆介紹了幾道菜，牛排很有牛味及juicy, 囡囡至愛的 grill pumpkin, spicy minced beef with cheese topping (這道菜是南非菜，原本的名字很怪，唔識讀，多得介紹) - 雖然亞女覺得辣，但她還是忍不住吃了很多，甜品也是老闆介紹，唔識讀，好好味！值得一提是 home made bread, 必試！
