The pasta comes in tomato broth whereas with the rice comes with curry.

Decided to go for a rice and the tea set, however the croissant was replaced with a Danish.

Other Info. : 餐廳位處灣仔某條橫街,如果不是特登去找,真的好難發現它的存在!可能因為是平日的夜晚,店內客人不多,老闆會主動跟我們閒聊,非常親切!

的確,我唔多點愛食蕃茄都比佢吸引到,個湯真係鮮甜好飲。

用餐期間,見到好多客人都敲門造訪,店主仲好好禮貌咁一一解釋,仲推介埋附近有咩好食比失望而回的顧客,呢一點真係在食店中好耐都未見過的一份真情。

之後,同老闆傾多兩句,佢仲倒左兩杯私人白酒比我地,當為呢個因緣際會下能一嚐佳餚而乾杯。

如果大家去開灣仔,記得趁月底去幫一幫襯,有心的小店不多,真的要多多支持。

This Confit de Canard was absolutely amazing! Everything in the dish was so delicious and enjoyable, even the tomatoes (remember I am a tomato hater)! The grilled cherry tomatoes were actually quite sweet indeed! The penne was al dente, and tasted even better with the tomato soup in the bottom. As for the duck confit, it’s just perfect! Not too oily, but meaty and tender enough for you to eat. One little complain is that, I would like a knife to eat the duck confit with (there were only fork and spoon).

The portion was surprisingly generous. I thought there would be few penne, as the dish was quite small. Yet it was quite deep indeed and there was quite a lot of penne. I would definitely love to visit again for the curry series!

無論你喜歡蕃茄與否, 都應該來灣仔下開業只有短短一個月的TOMATO STORY 星期六晚上人客不多, 店主親力親為出來招待客人, 和客人交流 ,令人留下更深印象。 這裡沒有華麗的裝潢, 以紅、白色為主調,坐位夠闊, 播放著很CHILL 的歌曲,令人感到舒適。 食物款式貴精不貴多,主打有三款蕃茄湯系列、 三款咖哩系列等。   三款不同風味分別有 [ 豬軟骨、 牛肋骨和油鴨腿] 三款食物也用上不一樣的烹調方式,而令我最感興趣的就只會出現在fine dining 的 而且只賣 $78 , 所以令我相當期待。                                   等了一會, 我的 已經放在面前。 賣相已經相當吸睛 ,完完整整的一隻油鴨腿體積佔了半隻碟, 份量十足。 我習慣先喝一口湯,蕃茄湯色澤鮮紅,  溫度足,喝起來像家庭式湯底,店主稱全無加入茄膏, 只用上60 斤蔬菜和牛骨熬成超濃郁菜湯,  因為是湯的質感所以長通粉沒有特別掛湯效果,而長通粉煮得彈牙可口。這裡的主角蕃茄仔也大有名堂,取自本地農民,荷蘭種車尼茄。件碟前略為煎過,車尼茄較圓轆轆, 咬落更脆更多汁。 終於來到主角

牛骨熬成超濃郁菜湯,  因為是湯的質感所以長通粉沒有特別掛湯效果,而長通粉煮得彈牙可口。

這裡的主角蕃茄仔也大有名堂,取自本地農民,荷蘭種車尼茄。

以中東香料醃製,再慢煮16 小時, 以保留食物的營養和原汁原味, 煎過的鴨腿皮特別香脆,

鴨腿可以輕易地骨肉分離, 鴨肉一絲一絲,相當鬆化。 

還以為中東香料會很強烈, 但吃到是隱約的香料滲入鴨皮內, 同時可以蓋過鴨的羶味, 

味道較適合大眾口味。

供應商就是火經店 Bake House¸ 其牛角酥賣到一包難求, 今次居然唔使排隊就吃到其酥餅, 實在令人興奮。 

蘋果批每天交到店舖再焗, 所以上枱時還是有溫度的。 

酥皮最怕拎上手油淋淋, 這個餅又輕又薄, 酥皮一層一層, 富空氣感, 蘋果蓉甜美不膩, 可以再豐富一點就更

好。 

品嚐過TOMATO STORY 的出品, 令我感覺到相當有HEART , 材料靚, 製作用心,出品也力求做到最好給客人。
