Nara’s popular yakiniku joint first overseas outpost at Gough Street. Also run by the same group that operates the wagyu Kappo specialist Nikutoieba Matsuda, it features cuts of premium beef and various types of meat at reasonable price points. What’s differentiate it from its many other competitors though is that it offers free meat to diners who can do a certain number of consecutive pull-ups inside the restaurant!! Next we ordered their house made banchan that servers highly recommended to us to try including Chinese cabbage and regular cabbage kimchi. Very fresh and well seasoned. Server said they will soon be offering them in jars for patrons to buy home.

We then ordered their Wagyu Special Grade Harami Steak, Wagyu Tongue with diced spring onion and scallions and the Wagyu Lean Meat Block, which were all incredibly flavourful and tender with the right amount of seasoning.
