聽聞里間油渣麵好好食,陪朋友特登走去試。間鋪好難搵,個 area 係整車同5金鋪,喺橫街度, 搵個黃色大燈牌就係喇。無咩選擇,原來得油渣麵食,同幾款小食。一人叫左碗細麵($22), 個麵質地好特別,好有口感,湯低有冬菇味,好好飲。 我本身唔太鍾意食肥膏,但d油渣炸到脆卜卜,唔太覺得油膩,所以都食左好多。叫左雞翼同通菜,通菜好多葉,雞翼好好味,雖然細細隻,但好入味。不過整體黎講,間鋪都係無咩肉食,唔太適合我里d食肉獸當正餐食。

油渣,我印象中只係得油炸的,而且只有我呀媽呀爸個年代先興既野食。但佢唔係,而係好似水煮咁~雖然無香脆可口,但肉香的味道卻不錯,不肥膩!餐牌就只有幾樣,腸,雞翼同菜~腸仔無特別,雞翼卻有家的味道,家庭式的煎雞翼,菜也只有幾種,但我每一次去,碟菜都係非常翠綠同級食店黎講,未食過一間次次去的菜都咁靚!整體黎講,佢唔係好食到非食不可,但食過一次都會想再食多次特別一提,加埋辣椒油,碗麵仲正!

豬油渣麵走蔥,原來油渣麵係一早煮定晒浸住架?有 order 即時落碗搞掂,我剛剛先知。但我真係唔識得欣賞油渣麵既麵條,又粗又實又唔滑。英記湯底有大量冬菜,幾香甜既,味道還可以,不過大埔群記更濃郁喎。嘩 ﹗估唔到依度既辣椒油夠辣又夠香噃,奇怪地跟油渣麵既味道都唔夾既。豬油渣都香口,而且偏肥。到底豬油渣麵應該以咩角度去品評呢?第一次幫襯亦可能係最後一次,不過有機會黎買辣椒油既。第一次食豬油渣麵係幾星期前大埔群記,今次係第二次食就黎左非常出名既英記 ﹗朋友仔話佢以前經常幫襯,話依家質數同味道都變得差左嚕。

油渣面是用粗面條, 比烏冬還要大條. 湯底是一般的清湯味.
面裡沒有什麼食材, 只有零碎的冬菇, 菜甫同蔥花粒. 但也是作為點綴及突顯油渣面的最佳拍檔!

When we arrived, we were a little dismayed to see that it had closed, but one of the ladies from the corner fruit shop kindly told us that they had just relocated to around the corner and we were pleased to see that the new premises were bigger too. The main reason why I wanted to try this is because Mr. C enjoys eating here for supper sometimes after work and each time we are here, it is always very busy hence my curiosity in trying. The menu is very limited, the focus being on their noodles which you can choose either big or small size and if you want a little more variety you can add side dishes of boiled vegetables or snacks of chicken wings or cheese sausages.

We ordered one big and one small as well as boiled yau muk choi. Our noodles arrived within a couple of minutes of ordering piled high with shallots and pickled vegetables (dong choi). Their noodles are shaped like thick cut rectangular ribbons and you can find mushrooms and boiled pork fat (you zha) inside the broth. The broth was clear and very flavoursome from the amount of pork used and surprisingly I could not detect any MSG. The noodles were very good, springy with a slight bite to it and absolutely perfect with the broth. If you do like chili, their homemade chili oil is worth trying, very fragrant and quite spicy it is guaranteed to make your nose run ;)

The vegetables were very fresh too, but they do douse it with a healthy amount of oil, so if you are trying to be healthy order them without the oil.

Unbelievably simple yet very satisfying~

超喜歡吃這家油渣面!! 因為有時午夜肚子餓,又不想半夜吃老M,所以這家店是我首選.他們的油渣面有分大碗小碗的,我食量不大所以大多叫小碗的.而且每次也叫"多渣多蔥"(多渣是多冬菜的意思).面中的冬菇特別入味,超好吃的!!可惜湯底應該下了味精,吃完會易口渴. 而每次我都會點雞亦,也是很不錯.

21-12-2012(五)是日,我和同事 Queenie 在九龍灣「掃街」後,就來太子/大角咀附近一帶吃晚飯。吃過「美味餃子店」的餃子後,步行 8 分鐘,便來到「英記油渣麵」。香港已經很少店能有油渣吃了,吃過深水埗的「周記」,一般而已!所以試試這間「英記油渣麵」。 油渣麵:內裡有上海粗麵、炸過油的豬油渣、香菇,上面再灑有一點冬菜及蔥粒。賣相一點也不肥淋,吃入口也不油膩,與選取自腩肉有關,配上粗身的麵條,富彈性又夠甘香,簡直無得彈。 炸雞翼:雞翼皮煎得夠脆身,味道很好。

同男友去左ELEMENTS睇戲,睇完揸住架車,唔知食咩好~諗左幾個選擇之後去左英記食,貪佢門口可以泊車,而且價錢又平~叫左一大一小油渣麵,最鐘意就係叫佢多D冬菜,咸咸地加埋落個麵又有D"趙"口~再叫左個雞翼同通菜,佢個腐乳好O岩我胃口~其實呢度唔多選擇,有時肚餓會叫埋芝士腸,哈哈~第一次帶我黎O既朋友話呢度個辣椒油好味,可惜我唔食辣,俾唔到評語~

油渣麵給人的印象是一種廉價食物。所謂油渣是人們以肥豬肉炸油所剩下來的肉渣。以前的人炸完豬油後不想把其肉渣丟去便用來煮麵,是貧窮年代的豐富食物。但隨著現代的香港人生活開始富裕起來,加上對健康飲食非常重視,因此油渣被認為是一種充滿脂肪的不健康食物,現在香港不是有很多地方能吃到油渣麵,而這間店鋪算是數一數二出名油渣麵。 晚上吃完雞煲後,仍然感到不飽,於是和友人走到大角嘴吃油渣麵。零晨一時多,店裡依然這麼多人。看到來這裡吃的人大部份也是附近的街坊,一身普通的裝扮,穿著拖鞋,走過來快快的吃一碗麵,吃完即走。店裡的裝潢也很簡陋,只有幾張折枱和椅。門口那個開放式廚房是用來煮油渣麵的,後面那個廚房是做小食的出處。店裡食物選擇不多,來的人主要是吃油渣麵和雞翼。油渣麵: 先來兩碗小的油渣麵。賣相也不錯。碗裡有上海粗麵,炸過油的豬油渣,冬菇,冬菜和少許蔥粒。只有這麼簡單的配料就可以整成一碗看噴噴的油渣麵。油渣麵中的油渣固然香,湯底也算鮮甜,但精華所在非菜脯莫屬。別看少這小東西,一碗好吃的油渣麵取決於菜脯水準。而這裡的菜脯也做得香,脆,爽。菜脯配合了不油膩的油渣一起放入湯麵裡,把整碗湯也變得鮮甜起來。至

煎雞翼: 雞翼也是這裡必吃的小食,叫了一份十元四只的雞翼,
亦可以要五元兩只。吃了幾年,雞翼也沒脹價,非常超值。雞翼是預先煎好的,
一叫即有所以吃下不會燙口。雞翼外皮煎到金黃色而且吃下很脆口,
加上一點椒鹽,味道不錯

自製辣椒醬: 必試又香又辣的秘制辣椒油,點少少已經辣到不得了,
很適合一些喜歡吃辣的朋友。亦可以加$35 元外賣一樽。

現今香港的租金相當驚人,就算在偏僻的新界區,隨便幾百尺的小店,月租也要過五萬以上。
英記這裡只賣簡單廉價的油渣麵,如果味道沒有一定水準的話,我想信也不能維持到今時今日。
