星期六晚同先生係灣仔散步 誤打誤撞搵到lee間係corner 位既日本菜,可能到達時間尚早 ,餐廳只有我地2位,非常清靜。店員用心介餐牌 最後點左一份十點既壽司同天婦羅餐可以先同廚師講您有咩係唔食既,佢會安排嘩!一睇已經覺得好新鮮,老公第一時間試左吞拿魚,話入口即溶,件件都好好味天婦羅有4件,兩件蝦兩件蔬菜,烏東既湯底味道好好。好滿意既晚餐 ,會再光顧 continue reading

日本料理在香港真的越開越多,以前只能夠在銅鑼灣及尖沙咀等等消費較高的地區,才可以找到中高級日本料理,現已擴展到灣仔、天后等地區,可見日本菜在香港的受歡迎程度真的有增無減,即使近幾年韓風大熱,依然無損日本菜在香港人心目中的地位。對上一次食壽司已經是接近一個月前的事情了,今日上網搜尋後,決定搵間在灣仔的壽司店一試。【八日】是地舖,與其他同屬地舖的鮨店如【見城】、【鮨森】、【植原】等一樣,門口相當低調,同樣用了全封閉式的木趟門,甚至再神秘一點,採用接近全黑色的門面設計。如果不是剛好位於富豪飯堂【福臨門】隔鄰,很容易錯過。推門內進。意料之中,餐廳面積細細。格局尚算寛闊,並非窄窄長長,但卻有點三尖八角。為了善用空間,餐廳特意安排一張梯形大枱放置在中間位置,並不太切合餐廳的定位。從午市套餐價錢即知道【八日】的定位為中高檔日本料理,價格直逼銅鑼灣食廈的樓上舖。但卻掛了一塊,上面寫上各款是日推介和食,感覺有點似居酒屋。天婦羅定食($188)包括日式午餐基本的配搭:前菜、茶碗蒸、沙律、麵豉湯、甜品/水果。一看見那盤天婦羅已經覺得不對路,雖然未至於平價港式日本料理的出品,有一大團中式脆漿包裹著食材的模樣,那些根本不能稱為正宗日式天婦羅。但這盤「天婦羅」的外觀也好不到哪裏去。天婦羅麵衣鬆散,做不到薄裡透光、似有若無的效果,甚至有過多的麵衣飄離了食材表面、碎片散落了出來。即使不是香港的頂級天婦羅店,以這個價錢的套餐,理應有更佳的質素。咬一啖蝦肉,竟然有一陣非常明顯、非常重的油膱味!簡直絕對不能接受!即使是旺角西洋菜街的港式日本料理,幾十蚊一客的午市套餐也不會出現這個情況。如果可以有得選擇的話,我會俾「0粒星」。我要勉強俾一粒星的原因,是不想其他瀏覽這篇食評的朋友們誤會我忘記俾分。食了一個這麼差的熟食,希望壽司的質素會好一點。特選壽司定食($288)的前菜、沙律與茶碗蒸,與天婦羅定食相同,沒有驚喜。蒸蛋的質素更加可以說是相當差,既沒有蛋香、又不夠滑溜。共有十件壽司,雖然有海膽、中とろ,但同時有一件三文魚。雖然三文魚是很多香港人喜愛的刺身,但喜愛正宗日本料理的朋友都知道,稍為高級的壽司店或日本料理是不會主動供應三文魚刺身/壽司,除非客人主動提出要求;部份鮨店甚至根本完全不會用來奉客。單是這一件三文魚壽司,已經使我對【八日】的壽司刺身出品的印像打了一個折扣。整體來說每件壽司的質素都可以接受,但卻沒有什麼特別驚喜。中とろ不夠肥美、油脂度不夠高,沒有那種入口之後慢慢融化的感覺。深海池魚沒有配搭葱花薑蓉。松葉蟹腳也沒有配搭小量的蟹膏。あなご(穴子)的醬汁不夠濃厚、欠缺鮮味。雖然都是普通的日本板海膽,但海膽獨有的鮮味不夠明顯。其餘四件壽司三文魚籽、鯛魚、甜蝦、帆立貝都總算符合基本要求。最後的新鮮水果竟然是最佳質素的食物。這一頓午餐被那客天婦羅的油膱味以及那一件三文魚壽司完全破壞了心情。如果每個套餐的價錢是在100元樓下,我還可以勉強接受;但是【八日】所收取的價錢卻是一眾銅鑼灣食廈內樓上高級日本料理的級數,而食物的出品質素卻明顯差了一截,尤其是那個天婦羅套餐,竟然還差過一間普普通通的港式日本料理。應該沒有可能再來下一次。 continue reading

性價比尚可的餐廳。環境舒適,氣氛輕鬆。可以一hea 的地方。6/10Decent Japanese in a relaxing atmosphere. Good for a chilled weekend lunch.6/10星期六下午原本打算去蟹膳進餐,但遠處見鐵閘拉下,便要立即在家人發作前另覓地方。幸好我們就站在「八日」門口,從門外窺探到有位便決定一試。We initially wanted to go to Kanizen for lunch but the metal shutters were pulled down so we had to find another option. Since we were just standing right next to Youka, we decided to try it out. 店內好像是8字形的。一邊是梳化位,另一邊是壽司吧及餐枱。內裡的擺設是中日混合的。枱與枱之間位置寬敞,坐得舒適。The interior decor was fairly cozy. It had a mixture of Oriental motives. 套餐方面大路的都有,亦有數款燒魚和網燒肉類可供選擇。我們點了烤雞和天婦羅烏冬定食。The set lunches were standard Japanese fare such as sushi , sashimi, tempura, a number of grilled fish and grilled meat to choose from. My wife ordered grilled chicken and I ordered their tempura set with udon. 有誠意的沙律和茶碗蒸, 味道不錯。Very decent salad and steamed egg.天婦羅的炸漿略嫌太厚不夠鬆化,較為硬身,口感一般。材料鮮度及分量則可以,起碼比我在「誠」吃過的好一點。烏冬未有想像中彈牙,不夠嚼勁。鰹魚醬油湯則味道剛好。Unfortunately, the tempura batter was fairly odd. The tempura coating was quite tough and not fluffy and crunchy enough.The udon was not as springy as I had hoped and was on the soft side. The fish and shoyu soup stock was not bad.烤雞扒定食的雞扒有點肉味,但似乎烤得過火一點,雖然未至於很鞋, 可惜肉汁不多。跟餐的飯是珍珠米,但應該不是日本出產的米,可能來自台灣。其實吃過日本米數次便很容易從飯的口感,香味,黏度和濕潤度分辨出來。My wife's grilled chicken set was not exceptional. The piece of grilled chicken was on the dry side, however, the taste of the chicken was good, indicating freshness and good quality chicken.A good bowl of rice is hard to come by and one should not take it for granted. Those here was probably Japanese rice type grown in Mainland China/Taiwan. Not as good as the real thing but still better than some expensive Japanese restaurants such as "Sei" at IFC.卷物反而有驚喜: 刺身新鮮,紫菜濕度剛好,壽司飯口感良好,醋味得宜,讚! 看來壽司套餐可能更有「睇頭」。The sushi maki was surprisingly good. The temperature was just right and the vinegar level was well balanced.埋單連加一,飲品及飯後生果共$392。侍應們都很友善,不斷加茶,不會趕客,是可以一hea 的地方。(走出門外才留意到關上了的鐵閘並不是蟹膳的!)We each had some fruits to complete a relaxing lunch. Notwithstanding my slight quibbles over the food, the staff were very pleasant and relaxed. 正宗日本師傅,每日有日本空運魚生及季節性嘅新推介。上星期同朋友慶祝生日, highly recommend 以下菜式及冇影到相嘅燒hamachi 魚餃同小食芝士餅+魚腸。仲有燒飯糰,可以包明太子,三文魚或梅子。這個是seasonal 的魷魚卵子小食,咬落去味道好鮮甜同脆脆地,好特別,值得試試。😊 熱辣辣的蟹肉粥,有啲甜甜地,同埋有雞蛋,菇,香葉。差不多每次都會order deluxe sashimi platter, deluxe 個種份量及種類比較多。每次都係日本新鮮運過來的。 continue reading

中午和母親大人用膳,選了在灣仔吃日料。這家餐廳開在皇後大道東靠近金鐘的地鋪,但保證大部分人經過如果不知道這家店不會知道這是家餐廳!因為餐廳正門是全黑色,旁邊掛了招牌寫了數字的8和一個日字,平常路過不留意都看不見哈哈!店名取八日還有特別的意思,靈感來自日本有關蟬及上帝以七天製造世界的故事,希望來這邊用膳的客人用完餐後有種煥然一新的感覺。店裏不大,所以來之前最好訂位喔!一進店裏正中央可以看到一張木制長桌,用的是一整塊原木還蠻特別。因為餐廳裏面沒有窗,外面完全看不到裏面,我覺得這裏私密度非常高。午餐提供定食。價錢在灣仔區算適中。我點了北海丼,定食包括前菜,沙拉,蒸蛋,味增湯和甜點。前菜是蘿蔔絲加豚肉和沙拉。味道普通。蒸蛋很滑,裏面有一小塊菇和雞肉。北海丼裏面有海膽,帶子,三文魚子和蟹肉。海膽很鮮甜味道濃郁,除了帶子有點硬(好像沒有完全解凍的感覺?),三文魚子和蟹肉味道都非常棒。配上醋飯吃很贊!母親大人點的是燒魚定食。今天的魚用的是赤魚,燒得成金黃色很有魚香味!而且魚本身很新鮮,只是有點略偏鹹,若沒那麽鹹更好吃!甜點是一個非常非常甜和多汁的橙子。這家餐廳味道和價錢都適中,當然在這一區要找比這家好的日料可能還有很多選擇,但伊藤師傅的這家黑色格調日式還是可以試試看喔♥ continue reading
