My bff is in town for the new year, so I brought her to this purple steakhouse. It's filled with Cantonpop music and the wooden furnitures surely give you a vintage vibe. We had a keto lunch- wholesome and satiating. The black truffle cauliflower rice was cooked with a rich cream, it's my first time to try cauli rice and here they served it like a risotto, just the veggie bits were crunchy instead of being soft like rice, making it fresh and light! Our choice of protein: buffalo wings and a medium ribeye. The wings were really crispy and addicting, buffalo sauce was very tasty and not spicy. Our steak was tender and came with crinkle fries and cabbages on a hot plate- very sizzling and fulfilling. Added the set to enjoy a warm bowl of soup, bun paired with Anchor butter, a drink of choice and a cup of vanilla ice-cream that's made in Hong Kong.

Every time when I crave for Thai and whenever I wanted to throw a dinner gathering, Chachawan would be my go-to place😊 Larp Moo, Gai Yang, Khor Moo Yung and the Phad Thai are the dishes that I usually order here, cos they can never go wrong😊 what surprised me was the Larp Bet, it’s basically the duck version of the Larp Moo, but it taste so much better. The combination of duck meat and pork rinds is magic😋and the tad spiciness is also superb. I also love the Khao Pad(Crab Fried Rice), it’s not overly seasoned, so it goes really well with the Khor Moo Yung(Pork Neck )or the Gai Yang(Grilled Chicken) The desserts are also the highlights of the entire dinner. The Khao Niaw Mamuang(Mango Sticky Rice) is unbeatable as always, probably one of the best I had in town😊the Kanom(Coconut Dumplings) Dtom reminds me of the Chinese tangyuan, except it taste better cos it’s served in coconut cream😋out of all the desserts, I like Roti Gluay(Banana Pancake) the most. The pancake tasted like grilled naan bread coated with condensed milk, I really don’t know what can beat that lol

This place has a nice vibe especially during dinner! Starting from the sides and salad bar, they’re all good! Me and my partner LOVED the mashed potatoes! And all the other sides tastes great as well. For the meat, they all taste good. Me and my partner loved the roasted chicken, chorizo, picanha, and more. The staff are lovely and welcoming. We came there during their 10th year anniversary and they gave us freebies! I don’t know if it’s only during their 10th year anniversary, but ladies are discounted! 😊

the place full of people as many ig kol advertising a lot. so i decide to give it a try.


1. clams noodle.
the soups broth is super sweet full of clam taste. but the clam is already cooked for too long. they extracted the freshness into soup but the clam is chewy and tasteless. just like the 湯渣。 the clam shells are moslty broken. many shell and sand at the bottom of the bowl. so annoying.

noodle is chewy, soup is good. but topping is bad.




2. stir kr meat sauce noodle.
the noodle of this is not the same. too soft and not chewy. just like the instant noodle. i dont know why they not use the soup one. the taste is fair. not salty and sweet. quite a normal dish.

The sauce had a very nice mushroom flavour and hung well onto the pasta.🍰Dirty Tiramisu: An extremely yummy dessert. Good combination of crunchy and creamy textures. Loved the chocolate sauce that added the spark to the tiramisu.☕️Baileys Mocha: Nice presentation. It would be nice if the aroma can be stronger. The black interior design made the setting dope and chic. The dessert was superb😋

The food was good, portion size is good but with this pricing I would have expected a better overall package. Ambiance and decor is mediocre, and so was the service. When we arrived, we were told that dining was limited to 90mins. We said we weren’t aware of this when we made the booking and they said they have a sound recording of their phone conversation with us. It really wasn’t a big issue for us, just a surprised remark, so not sure why there was a need to be passive aggressive. Overall, the food is good but the pricing doesn’t match up with the other parts of the restaurant.

I seldom write commentary on openrice, but I believe the food and services of this restaurant called Vivace is so great that it deserve a commentary so more people know this hidden gem in town. The retaurant serves Western dishes. The food is fresh, tasty and cooked with fine skill. Portion and price is reasonable and the ambience is great, worth every penny of it.  We had six people dining here in CNY public holiday (chor 3) and the bill was $2000. The hotel offers free shuttle bus from Tung Chung station to the restaurant.  Absolutely love it.

I like to buy sushi takeaway and this chain store has cheap sushis with better quality than the ‘express’ brand. Individually wrapped sushi was $3 each and I like their choices. Today I picked yuzu snapper; cheese & octopus; garlic escargot salad. All these three were tasty! I especially enjoyed the yuzu snapper, very fresh fish added with refreshing yuzu seasoning. Also tried their hand rolls with rainbow ingredients. It’s quite good as well- a mouthful full of veggies, crab sticks, flying fish roes and octopus. On the package, it told you to eat this roll at a specific cardinal direction to bring yourself good luck in the new year, which is a Japanese tradition. p.s. remember to save YUU points for your purchase

🍰Pistachio Burnt Basque Cheesecake: Very rich pistachio flavours. A bit pity that the cake crumbled down a bit when cutting. Would be better if the cake could have a firmer texture. A perfect dessert for pistachio lovers.

☕️Latte: A nice coffee to complement the cheesecake. Not too many surprises for a latte though. A chill afternoon with some cute doggos 😍 Service was friendly
