To encourage eatery outlets to reduce food waste at source together with customers through offering portioned meals and adopting food waste reduction measures, the Environmental Protection Department has launched the “Food Wise Eateries” Scheme. Participants will be awarded with a Food Wise Eateries (FWE) accreditation status if they comply with the assessment criteria and will be granted with the FWE Logo and Stickers for displaying in the premises and their promotion for public identification. Applications are accepted all year round and are FREE of charge.

To promote a new salt and sugar reduction (RSS) dietary culture and living style to the people of Hong Kong, the Environment and Ecology Bureau, the Committee on Reduction of Salt and Sugar in Food and the Centre for Food Safety of the Food and Environmental Hygiene Department have launched the "Less-Salt-and-Sugar Restaurants Scheme" ("Scheme"). Restaurants participated in the Scheme will offer less salt or sugar options to the consumer or even tailor-make less salt or sugar dishes in designated restaurants. Participating restaurants will be granted with the Scheme Labels for displaying in the premises for public identification. 第一次寫食評,因為唔想有人好似我咁中伏。1、叫了一湯五菜及三个甜品,全程漏了三次單。侍应放下湯便走人,结果要自助。上了兩個菜後停了N年。舉手N世冇人理。唔好問我有冇茶水添。2、隔離桌吸煙,由一个人吸变成四个人吸,中間叫他們派人處理,都虛应我的要求,仲答我已經說了,好似說了一句便走開便是完成責任了。向收銀處找部長投訴了三次,直至最後一次話我已打去控煙辦,部長才認真處理。3、大堂全場侍应少到離谱,見到的都集中在婚宴席那边。4、食物不新鲜,我現在知道,除了不新鲜的鱼会腥之外,原來龍蝦都会腥的。冇下次。怪只怪我冇预先訂樓上一層的酒樓,结果去到冇位,只好走落一層,结果多得這間酒樓送了一肚氣,還不是免費的,是要埋單的。
