Participants will be awarded with a Food Wise Eateries (FWE) accreditation status if they comply with the assessment criteria and will be granted with the FWE Logo and Stickers for displaying in the premises and their promotion for public identification. Applications are accepted all year round and are FREE of charge.

To promote a new salt and sugar reduction (RSS) dietary culture and living style to the people of Hong Kong, the Environment and Ecology Bureau, the Committee on Reduction of Salt and Sugar in Food and the Centre for Food Safety of the Food and Environmental Hygiene Department have launched the "Less-Salt-and-Sugar Restaurants Scheme" ("Scheme"). Restaurants participated in the Scheme will offer less salt or sugar options to the consumer or even tailor-make less salt or sugar dishes in designated restaurants. Participating restaurants will be granted with the Scheme Labels for displaying in the premises for public identification. 今日約了家人到太古城吃晚飯,想找個坐得舒服的地方,便想起早前曾到那兒飲茶的「翠園」。門口的侍應看到我們手中拿著很多「戰利品」,便安排我們坐在一張較大的圓桌位置。店員還主動告知我們,餐廳正做匯豐信用卡優惠,所有主餐牌內的食品都有折扣。我和家人看了看餐牌,便叫了一客菠蘿咕嚕肉、鐵板叉燒,叫了數樣肉類,我們想找一個較清淡的菜式,所以再叫了一個珍菌生搣豆腐煲。不一會兒,發出「滋滋」響的蜜味鐵板叉燒先上場,侍應在上菜時把蜜汁淋上,使叉燒的甜味更突出,熱騰騰的香氣令人垂涎欲滴。之後其他餸菜亦陸續登場,咕嚕肉的脆漿不太厚,咬下去亦能保持啖啖肉。珍菌生搣豆腐煲的湯底充滿鮮甜的菇菌味,配以小唐菜及豆腐,口感不錯。整體來說,這頓家常便飯讓家人很滿意。
