To encourage eatery outlets to reduce food waste at source together with customers through offering portioned meals and adopting food waste reduction measures, the Environmental Protection Department has launched the “Food Wise Eateries” Scheme. Participants will be awarded with a Food Wise Eateries (FWE) accreditation status if they comply with the assessment criteria and will be granted with the FWE Logo and Stickers for displaying in the premises and their promotion for public identification. Applications are accepted all year round and are FREE of charge.

To promote a new salt and sugar reduction (RSS) dietary culture and living style to the people of Hong Kong, the Environment and Ecology Bureau, the Committee on Reduction of Salt and Sugar in Food and the Centre for Food Safety of the Food and Environmental Hygiene Department have launched the "Less-Salt-and-Sugar Restaurants Scheme" ("Scheme"). Restaurants participated in the Scheme will offer less salt or sugar options to the consumer or even tailor-make less salt or sugar dishes in designated restaurants. Participating restaurants will be granted with the Scheme Labels for displaying in the premises for public identification. 琴日去左太興!明知佢係貴,但想假期食得好D,貴少少都好啦!點知。。。。真的令人極度失望!$6X碟馳名燒腩仔飯,不單無賣相,簡直就像垃圾咁堆埋一堆,顯出突顯廚房的求其!如果好食我都唔會怪佢!令人失望的是,一點點也不好味!腩仔骨肉分離,腩皮又油又淋,連蝶飯都是一pat pat的,似米漿多過飯,無texture又無飯味!令人失望之極。『難食』我唔怪佢!但收我咁貴卻對食物的處理毫無誠意,就難以令人原諒!仲要加$18先可叫雙併!叉燒當然都係唔得!真係“霉”肉囉。仲要俾得兩滴叉燒汁!好在要求加汁佢都肯俾!否則……老板叫左點瑞士汁炒河,都係一路食一路鬧!牛肉霉的!河粉根本未炒開,仲係一叠叠!個汁就只得一個“甜”字!全無瑞士酒的咸得黎甜甜地的神粹!兩個人食左成$150!(好唔值!)這都不是最重要要!最重要係浪費我們假日食野的quota,不能原諒!
