To encourage eatery outlets to reduce food waste at source together with customers through offering portioned meals and adopting food waste reduction measures, the Environmental Protection Department has launched the “Food Wise Eateries” Scheme. Participants will be awarded with a Food Wise Eateries (FWE) accreditation status if they comply with the assessment criteria and will be granted with the FWE Logo and Stickers for displaying in the premises and their promotion for public identification. Applications are accepted all year round and are FREE of charge.

To promote a new salt and sugar reduction (RSS) dietary culture and living style to the people of Hong Kong, the Environment and Ecology Bureau, the Committee on Reduction of Salt and Sugar in Food and the Centre for Food Safety of the Food and Environmental Hygiene Department have launched the "Less-Salt-and-Sugar Restaurants Scheme" ("Scheme"). Restaurants participated in the Scheme will offer less salt or sugar options to the consumer or even tailor-make less salt or sugar dishes in designated restaurants. Participating restaurants will be granted with the Scheme Labels for displaying in the premises for public identification. 久唔久去吓其他地方嘆吓茶,求其一間撞下,望吓個價錢都好平民,而且又唔使等位,就入去試吓係咪咁平靚正。一入去見到個大廳,一望無際中間冇柱位,如果好似以前咁樣擺酒結婚就唔錯,不過而家就冇乜作為。原來佢有個地方專係飲靚茶,就貴少少試吓你,不過都係果句,茶樓真係無靚嘅普洱,墨汁咁嘅色又無茶味,睇怕今次又中伏。 今日冇食到四選一,只係食其他點心,因為多數呢啲特價嘢,都係細細件冇乜肉食。叫下啲最基本嘅,試吓佢有冇料到。先講包類,以馬拉糕同叉燒包為例,個包瞓得好鬆軟,有香嘅包味。叉燒包啲餡就似一般叉燒料冇乜特別。再講經典嘅燒賣,都係大集團熟口熟面嘅味道,冇乜驚喜。牛肉球依然溝唔同嘅料入去,既冇牛肉味,更加冇陳皮味。反而有兩樣點心值得點提,特色炸兩同埋個煎堆仔,炸兩唔係用一般嘅油炸鬼,依家用咗類似越式春卷皮,識落冇咁油膩而且比較爽脆,如果中間飽啲芒果配上沙律更加有特色。而煎堆仔發起好大個,皮薄鬆脆有少許油香味,係有少少出乎意料。咁嘅價錢已經比好多,屋邨酒樓好得多。以往去過呢一間其他地方嘅分店都冇乜好感,不過呢一間可以令我改觀。
