To encourage eatery outlets to reduce food waste at source together with customers through offering portioned meals and adopting food waste reduction measures, the Environmental Protection Department has launched the “Food Wise Eateries” Scheme. Participants will be awarded with a Food Wise Eateries (FWE) accreditation status if they comply with the assessment criteria and will be granted with the FWE Logo and Stickers for displaying in the premises and their promotion for public identification. Applications are accepted all year round and are FREE of charge.

To promote a new salt and sugar reduction (RSS) dietary culture and living style to the people of Hong Kong, the Environment and Ecology Bureau, the Committee on Reduction of Salt and Sugar in Food and the Centre for Food Safety of the Food and Environmental Hygiene Department have launched the "Less-Salt-and-Sugar Restaurants Scheme" ("Scheme"). Restaurants participated in the Scheme will offer less salt or sugar options to the consumer or even tailor-make less salt or sugar dishes in designated restaurants. Participating restaurants will be granted with the Scheme Labels for displaying in the premises for public identification. 20161114--一直想到新加坡品嚐當地美食,但又因很多原因遲遲未能成行,得悉潮江春做新加坡美食推廣,相約家人光顧。星期一的關係,不用等位,侍應很快便可安排入座。二人被安排坐了小的圓桌子,尚算舒適。二人點了:黑胡椒蟹--期待吃星洲黑胡椒蟹很久,蟹上桌時本人真的很興奮,傳來陣陣胡椒香,蟹面也佈滿胡椒,賣相吸引,蟹是大肉蟹,蟹新鮮,蟹肉實在,不會水水的,可是味道不但沒有太多胡椒味,而且太咸,咸得有點苦,廚師是否放了雙重鹽? 白白浪費了一隻新鮮肉蟹。臘味炒芥蘭--這道菜炒出來不會太肥膩,臘味份量多,芥蘭淋甜,味道不錯。埋單:忘了價錢,只記得當時用恒生信用咭有85折優惠,折實後價錢也不算便宜,因為特別來吃蟹,味道令人失望,有點不值。自問算是潮江的FANS,真心覺得理境、食物和服務也是有水準的,曾經對家人豪語:潮江春無論甚麼點心也好吃,想不到是次光顧晩餐,真的很失望,希望只是偶爾的失手。事後想著還是加把勁計劃到新加坡吃地地道道的胡椒蟹吧。
