To encourage eatery outlets to reduce food waste at source together with customers through offering portioned meals and adopting food waste reduction measures, the Environmental Protection Department has launched the “Food Wise Eateries” Scheme. Participants will be awarded with a Food Wise Eateries (FWE) accreditation status if they comply with the assessment criteria and will be granted with the FWE Logo and Stickers for displaying in the premises and their promotion for public identification. Applications are accepted all year round and are FREE of charge.

To promote a new salt and sugar reduction (RSS) dietary culture and living style to the people of Hong Kong, the Environment and Ecology Bureau, the Committee on Reduction of Salt and Sugar in Food and the Centre for Food Safety of the Food and Environmental Hygiene Department have launched the "Less-Salt-and-Sugar Restaurants Scheme" ("Scheme"). Restaurants participated in the Scheme will offer less salt or sugar options to the consumer or even tailor-make less salt or sugar dishes in designated restaurants. Participating restaurants will be granted with the Scheme Labels for displaying in the premises for public identification. 今日到了北京樓午餐,看見門口有推廣全日叫片皮鴨半價,另外還有一些午市孖寶套餐。裏面環境主要係中國特色設計,另外還有開放廚房,給人一種安心衛生的感覺。天花還有一些吊燈感覺亦都好典雅。首先送上的就是前菜, 是用香醋醃製的青瓜乾豆腐花生雲耳, 開胃得來好啱食。第一款送上的就是四川擔擔麵,麵身軟硬適中,有辣味不過可接受;花生碎和肉碎不算太多,有芝麻香味,但整體來說味道是不錯的。下一款送上的是片皮鴨( 半份),片皮鴨皮醃製得很香,甜味適中,口感微微的脆。鴨肉香滑美味,嬤嬤皮有大約10片,配菜有糖, 青瓜, 大蔥, 還有粉紅色的菜條。烤鴨醬味道適中很不錯。半價來說,性價比很高。下一樣送到的就是孖寶套餐的灌湯小籠包,一籠三隻,包皮雖然軟熟,但並不容易難,湯汁鮮甜而不肥膩,肉的口感不錯,味道很好。我哋另外叫咗兩杯夏日推廣的飲品,一杯是蘋果醋;另一杯是烏梅醋, 有話梅的味道,杯內亦有椰果,$18一杯,貌相不錯,不過醋味不是太濃, 但係解渴,喜歡酸酸的朋友是一個不錯的選擇。
