雞牛羊白鱔沙嗲 - There were 2 each for each of us to try one. The 白鱔 was super good, the best among the 4! It was so fresh and well grilled. The chicken and the beef were ok with nothing particularly special. The lamb was a bit "so" but acceptable. The sauce was very good - appetising and not too spicy. There were some pickles on the side. Good!

印尼小食拼盤 had 5 types of snacks:
1) Deep fried okra were ok;
2) Deep fried yellow bean cake was pretty healthy. At first I thought they were taro;
3) Fried bean curd was ok;
4) Grilled chicken wings were pretty tasty; and
5) Deep fried chicken was pretty tender and juicy with crispy skin. Well done.
The sauce was too spicy though. With a different sauce, I think they could have been much better!

燒牛仔骨花膠湯粉皮 - I never knew such a dish as an Indonesian dish. The soup was very clear and tasted very rich of fish maw. There were 2 pieces of fish maw, although not so big, in the soup. The 粉皮 were super super smooth. Very delicious soup and noodles indeed. There were 3 pieces of 燒牛仔骨 which were grilled pretty well. Okra as side dish again.

乳鴿雜菜飯 - There was quite a big pigeon but it was too dry I think. Maybe we were expected to eat with the sauce but again the sauce was too spicy for us. There was a big piece of deep-fried bean curd and spicy salted fish. The spicy salted fish was too salty - not really spicy though. It reminded me of my grandpa who likes salted fish...Mixed veggies included okra (again), tomato slices, 1 slice of lettuce and 1 type of veggies which we have never seen - a ball-shaped melon looking like a big onion head. We were so full and couldn't finish the rice. I personally found this dish less appealing compared with the others.

With the pretty spicy food, we couldn't help not ordering some cold drinks. 芒果沙冰 looked so giant and nice when served! Both of us were so surprised! The taste of mango of course was not the most natural but it was ok. Good to wash down the spicy Indonesian food.

班蘭葉上海刨冰 was so much bigger but was really nothing comparable with Japanese ice. There were some big ice cubes inside which was weird. The taste of the ice seemed to be strawberry - which was not as artificial as expected. There were loads of different types of jelly. Overall it was ok but not particularly pleasing. The yellow paste in front tasted weird. Why was it called 上海刨冰 btw?

Both of us had to go home with 2 super full stomachs. Really had to admit that Indonesian food here had really surprised me. I really had expected that they could be so good, especially the grilled satay. The deep fried food should be ok but I personally couldn't eat too spicy the sauce. Quite an eye-opening experience.

Service was pretty nice although they were so busy serving the full house of eaters. Environment and hygiene could have been better though. That said, there was no 10% service charge. Price was not cheap to be frank but quality of the food was not bad!
