呢個星期天氣開始轉涼,決定約埋班朋友進行今年入冬以來的第一次打邊爐!幾個麻甩佬,目標當然唔會係近年開到成行成市、主打游水海鮮的高級火鍋店,而是鎖定了一間九龍城老字號。提早兩日訂位,準時去到「方榮記沙嗲牛肉專家」。上一次幫襯「方榮記」最少是十幾年前,之後一直沒有幫襯,主要也是因為室內環境太過麻甩,只適合一大班朋友一邊隊啤、一邊烚下烚下;加上枱與枱之間很擠迫、員工服務態度又唔係太好,更加不太適合一家大細。難得今晚約齊朋友,當然不能放過這個機會。「方榮記」屹立九龍城幾十年,創店老闆是典型上一代生意人,賺了錢就自己買舖,但唔係炒舖炒地產;而是只求穩定長做生意、不需要擔心搬舖加租。也僥倖因為這種老派思想,老店才不會受到近年地舖租金飈升的影響,可以一直在原址經營。雖然已經由第二代接手,但仍然秉承上一代老闆(老豆)的脾氣;所以,不要奢望什麼優質服務,員工態度好不到哪裏去,總之,感覺似幾十年前的路邊大排檔打邊爐。雖然是自置舖位,但老字號就是有種脾氣:地方逼夾;裝修甚至有啲地踎、比普通街坊小菜館還要街坊;堅持唔翻新、唔花錢搞靚裝修。雖然用餐環境唔理想,又人多嘈吵;但仍然座無虛席,左右兩間並不相連的舖位全
