To promote a new salt and sugar reduction (RSS) dietary culture and living style to the people of Hong Kong, the Environment and Ecology Bureau, the Committee on Reduction of Salt and Sugar in Food and the Centre for Food Safety of the Food and Environmental Hygiene Department have launched the "Less-Salt-and-Sugar Restaurants Scheme" ("Scheme"). Restaurants participated in the Scheme will offer less salt or sugar options to the consumer or even tailor-make less salt or sugar dishes in designated restaurants. 中菜食得多,第一次經朋友介紹食正宗北京菜—北京老家,位於灣條合和中心。門面裝修好有氣派,而且古色古香,好有味道。上至餐廳名,下至餐具,或是係擺設,全部好用心,令人好陶醉於其中。服務員好細心介紹我地特色食物,所以我地好期待。其中涼菜—老家心靈美,聽個菜名好有詩意,原來係老闆北京自家農場種既紅心蘿蔔,味道有啲似紅菜頭,清清地好爽口,亦開脾開胃。食得北京菜,點可以少左北京填鴨,半隻份量可以卷到至少八卷。將燒到皮脆肉嫩,加上青瓜同大蒜,秘制醬汁包埋一齊,放入口,感受個種脆,嫩,香既細膩口感。燒排骨架除有有南乳香味外,仲有酸甜感,而且炆到好腍好入味,送飯一流之餘又冇油膩感。連續兩碟肉,再來係老家柚子魚,成條桂花魚師傳用超好刀功起肉炸,之後淋上柚子汁。柚子一黎令魚更清新,二黎又去左油膩感,加上火候控制岩好,魚肉嫩滑,啖啖肉,冇咩骨,大人小朋友都好岩食。食到一半見到有位老師傅即場拉緊麵,原來全部麵類都係師傅即拉即煮,忍唔住叫左碗擔擔麵試下。麵身好彈牙,味道亦香。高力豆沙包不過不失,略嫌豆沙比較少。呢間北京老家,環境一流,又坐得舒適,食物又好味,好岩一家大細或者朋友聚會。
