To encourage eatery outlets to reduce food waste at source together with customers through offering portioned meals and adopting food waste reduction measures, the Environmental Protection Department has launched the “Food Wise Eateries” Scheme. Participants will be awarded with a Food Wise Eateries (FWE) accreditation status if they comply with the assessment criteria and will be granted with the FWE Logo and Stickers for displaying in the premises and their promotion for public identification. Applications are accepted all year round and are FREE of charge.

To promote a new salt and sugar reduction (RSS) dietary culture and living style to the people of Hong Kong, the Environment and Ecology Bureau, the Committee on Reduction of Salt and Sugar in Food and the Centre for Food Safety of the Food and Environmental Hygiene Department have launched the "Less-Salt-and-Sugar Restaurants Scheme" ("Scheme"). Restaurants participated in the Scheme will offer less salt or sugar options to the consumer or even tailor-make less salt or sugar dishes in designated restaurants. Participating restaurants will be granted with the Scheme Labels for displaying in the premises for public identification. 參與了開飯網舉行的活動之後,也不知吃了多少件月餅,卻正處於半飽不餓的狀態,雖然已經過了晚飯時間,還是想來一點輕食之選。於回家途中經過上環德輔道中地段時,剛好見到一間南記粉麵,想來亦是一試無妨的選擇。記得同事說過,南記以香港仔作為起家基地,以馳名的魚蛋及腐皮春卷作為招徠,多年下來,現在則以連鎖店的姿態擴充下去,於辦公室的範圍內,也不時看其外購的紙碗及膠袋,反而自己就較少機會作品嚐了。初次入內之下,原來是以快餐的自助購票形式營運的。除了馳名的潮式魚蛋粉麵之外,還有百搭式的小窩米線可以選擇,思前想後,見到餐板內有一客鴛鴦河,內裡包括了魚蛋及牛丸各兩粒,另加兩條炸腐皮春卷,加上豆漿一杯,以廿七元這個價錢來說,問心下其實甚為相宜。試了河粉及湯底,既來得幼細爽滑,亦帶出一點兒的鮮味,倒又不呈過燥及偏鹹的狀況,已屬接受的水平。重點還是內裡幾款餡物,老實一句,其魚蛋也算爽身,卻欠上了潮式風格那種應有的彈性,而魚味也不夠明確,一早已知是機器的產物,卻淪於那平庸的用料,至於內裡的牛丸,吃了一口之後,除了爽實之餘,最大的印象,還是掩蓋不過的雪味。倒是內裡的炸春卷值得一談,腐皮下包著的,不外是調味後攪碎的豬肉

倒是內裡的炸春卷值得一談,腐皮下包著的,不外是調味後攪碎的豬肉等,卻嚐出一份軟熟而「酥香」的感覺,令這碗不起眼的湯粉,起碼多了一點兒的看頭。看對面的一對食客,一於不點甚麼百搭,各來一碗腐皮春卷湯粉,就知一班。

桌上例牌地備有一瓶辣椒油,試了一點之下,雖然夠嗆夠辣,還是失卻那種獨有的香氣。

臨尾的豆漿也只得一個甜字,內裡豆香完全欠奉,匆匆吃完後也盡快離開,好印象還是說不上,同屬魚蛋粉的話,個人較為屬意灣仔再興對面,那一檔家庭式的店子,或者這正是改為連鎖經營的代價吧!還有其小窩米線沒有吃到,也不完全排除再來的機會。
