To encourage eatery outlets to reduce food waste at source together with customers through offering portioned meals and adopting food waste reduction measures, the Environmental Protection Department has launched the “Food Wise Eateries” Scheme. Participants will be awarded with a Food Wise Eateries (FWE) accreditation status if they comply with the assessment criteria and will be granted with the FWE Logo and Stickers for displaying in the premises and their promotion for public identification. Applications are accepted all year round and are FREE of charge.

To promote a new salt and sugar reduction (RSS) dietary culture and living style to the people of Hong Kong, the Environment and Ecology Bureau, the Committee on Reduction of Salt and Sugar in Food and the Centre for Food Safety of the Food and Environmental Hygiene Department have launched the "Less-Salt-and-Sugar Restaurants Scheme" ("Scheme"). Restaurants participated in the Scheme will offer less salt or sugar options to the consumer or even tailor-make less salt or sugar dishes in designated restaurants. Participating restaurants will be granted with the Scheme Labels for displaying in the premises for public identification. 越大就越喜歡吃 中國菜,而中菜入面最喜歡就是上海的美食。早前就來到了翡翠拉麵小籠包過上海菜癮, 旺角MOKO這間分店環境好好,坐得舒適, 食物質素也不俗!番茄魚湯海鮮拉麵。這裏的拉麵是自家手拉,果然口感特別彈牙和滑。湯底是番茄海鮮湯,有著海鮮的鮮味和番茄的酸味,感覺清新。不過美中不足的是湯底比較稀。花雕醉雞酒香極之濃郁,雞肉又滑溜溜,不錯。茶香燻乳鴿。乳鴿皮脆肉嫩,而且肉質juicy,還帶有淡淡木炭香氣。香煎素鵝。腐皮煎得好脆,入面還有冬菇粒,口感和味道也很豐富。上海小籠包。小籠包皮薄餡靚,裏面充滿著肉汁。酒釀丸子。比起單純米酒的味道,這裏的更多了一陣清甜桂花香,中和之後味道很好, 而且丸子煙煙韌韌很有咬口。
