筆者屋企附近餐廳選擇不多,有時悶悶地,也會驅車到他區飲飲食食,西環往往是一個不錯的選擇,因其距離不遠,不用過(塞)隧道,易泊車,食肆多。今回在厚和街又發現了一間新餐廳,以咖哩湯作主打,幾有特色。從招牌上的武士做型可知主打咖哩湯來自日本。細看餐單,更得知名物源自北海道札幌。點餐流程基本上是先選湯底,再挑辣度,繼而揀餸料。既然人多,不仿一氣點了多款口味試試。總括來說,不論何款湯底,除主要餸料外,基本上都一樣,而且全是菜蔬食材如紅蘿蔔、蕃薯、薯仔、紅椒等,一來健康,二來菜蔬略帶甜味可助解辣。因每件菜蔬均被切成大大件,而且浸煮時間不太久,所以吃時普遍爽脆富口感。另外,跟湯亦附上一碟薑黃飯,薑味不算很重,米身比正常短小,似是日本產物。吃時建議伴上咖哩湯吃更可口。就湯頭口味而言,椰子給力最為突出,其次是蝦湯,蝦香甜味足。相對蝦湯,蟹湯味道稍內儉。鮮茄湯本是最期待的湯底,但因出了少許亂子(以下詳述),實在不能品評其味!另外,根據店員簡述,咖哩湯沒有加入人工味精香料,並普遍採用來自日本的新鮮菜蔬及海鲜熬湯入饌,口味更健康天然。因不是人人吃得辣,大部分湯底只擇「初級武士辣度」(微辣),只餘一碗點了最高的
