To encourage eatery outlets to reduce food waste at source together with customers through offering portioned meals and adopting food waste reduction measures, the Environmental Protection Department has launched the “Food Wise Eateries” Scheme. Participants will be awarded with a Food Wise Eateries (FWE) accreditation status if they comply with the assessment criteria and will be granted with the FWE Logo and Stickers for displaying in the premises and their promotion for public identification. Applications are accepted all year round and are FREE of charge.

To promote a new salt and sugar reduction (RSS) dietary culture and living style to the people of Hong Kong, the Environment and Ecology Bureau, the Committee on Reduction of Salt and Sugar in Food and the Centre for Food Safety of the Food and Environmental Hygiene Department have launched the "Less-Salt-and-Sugar Restaurants Scheme" ("Scheme"). Restaurants participated in the Scheme will offer less salt or sugar options to the consumer or even tailor-make less salt or sugar dishes in designated restaurants. Participating restaurants will be granted with the Scheme Labels for displaying in the premises for public identification. 上一回說到腰圍足足漲了半呎,現不敢怠慢。由大圍出發,沿城門河一直步行到石門富臨皇宮,然後以同樣方法回程,來回路程兩個多小時當然啦,此位於石門站C出口的京瑞廣場,一出馬鐵站便是。想不到在此僻靜地,星期六晚上竟幾乎全場滿座。木桶豉油雞($18): 沒錯,是$18元一整隻,超級抵食。雖價錢相宜,但質素也Okay,豉油香甜,雞件已入味,雞脾/ 雞翼等部位幼嫩香滑,唯雞胸等難免有點粗糙,可是特價$18元發售,已交足功課。花膠北菇鵝掌煲($98): 花膠與鵝掌均是矜貴之選,配以蠔皇芡汁,鮮味即時出來。花膠軟腍入味,而且不腥; 鵝掌同樣軟腍但不會有鬆散的質感。龍躉兩味($228/兩款): 分別為蒸龍躉腩及西蘭花炒龍躉腩球,同為龍躉腩,前者清蒸,肉質較軟腍,鮮味較突出; 後者爆炒令肉質更為爽滑,產出不同感覺。涼粉芒果布甸($16.8): 布甸甜度適中,還有不少芒果肉,淡花奶使其更香,但亦中和涼粉的澀,整體蠻不錯。
