To encourage eatery outlets to reduce food waste at source together with customers through offering portioned meals and adopting food waste reduction measures, the Environmental Protection Department has launched the “Food Wise Eateries” Scheme. Participants will be awarded with a Food Wise Eateries (FWE) accreditation status if they comply with the assessment criteria and will be granted with the FWE Logo and Stickers for displaying in the premises and their promotion for public identification. Applications are accepted all year round and are FREE of charge.

To promote a new salt and sugar reduction (RSS) dietary culture and living style to the people of Hong Kong, the Environment and Ecology Bureau, the Committee on Reduction of Salt and Sugar in Food and the Centre for Food Safety of the Food and Environmental Hygiene Department have launched the "Less-Salt-and-Sugar Restaurants Scheme" ("Scheme"). Restaurants participated in the Scheme will offer less salt or sugar options to the consumer or even tailor-make less salt or sugar dishes in designated restaurants. 疫情以來都一直工作,下班後很多時都要買外賣回家當作晚餐,但很多時都有捱飯盒的感覺,心裏實在很想到酒樓用膳,於是計劃走到附近的富臨酒家點了些餸菜外賣回家。怎料遇上了驚喜:「外賣 4.8折,而且免加一」!最後我們二人點了三個餸折扣下只需$159,相當抵食!店內設有外賣專區,在那邊等等很快便拿到外賣。新鮮即製,還熱烘烘的。《蓮藕花生炆豬手 原價 $82(外賣價 $39)》豬手、蓮藕和花生都炆得十分入味軟稔,豬手特別覺得膠質滿滿很養顏。《北菇海參扣鵝掌煲 原價 $118(外賣價 $71)》有兩大隻鵝掌舖底,夠稔好吃。北菇有成5大隻,厚厚的很吸汁,單吃北菇已很有飽肚感。海參味道偏淡但很爽口,可以平衡到獻汁的濃味。《楊州炒飯我 原價 $88(外賣價 $42)》炒得乾身不會油膩,而且炒得均勻,粒粒飯都黃金吸引,單是賣相已十分加分。炒飯用料足,有蝦、叉燒、菜粒、蛋花和蔥花,感覺豐富,有蛋香又不會偏咸或偏淡,味道亦調得剛好。會繼續幫襯!
