To encourage eatery outlets to reduce food waste at source together with customers through offering portioned meals and adopting food waste reduction measures, the Environmental Protection Department has launched the “Food Wise Eateries” Scheme. Participants will be awarded with a Food Wise Eateries (FWE) accreditation status if they comply with the assessment criteria and will be granted with the FWE Logo and Stickers for displaying in the premises and their promotion for public identification. Applications are accepted all year round and are FREE of charge.

To promote a new salt and sugar reduction (RSS) dietary culture and living style to the people of Hong Kong, the Environment and Ecology Bureau, the Committee on Reduction of Salt and Sugar in Food and the Centre for Food Safety of the Food and Environmental Hygiene Department have launched the "Less-Salt-and-Sugar Restaurants Scheme" ("Scheme"). Restaurants participated in the Scheme will offer less salt or sugar options to the consumer or even tailor-make less salt or sugar dishes in designated restaurants. 北京樓菜館是長輩心目中的中菜名店,然而最近的一次用餐卻大失所望,菜式明顯大失水準#### 菜式水準大跌####進入餐廳,環境仍然清潔明亮。然而,當菜單上的美食陸續上桌時才發現,這裡的菜式水準已經大幅下滑,明顯的冷藏原材料,雪味仍未去,外層強加調味,外層味道過重,裏面淡然無味。招牌的北京烤鴨,鴨皮不夠酥脆,肉質也略顯乾柴,連配料的大蔥青瓜,亦只有兩三塊,寥寥可數。#### 上菜馬得急####此外,餐廳的菜品上得極為急促,幾乎是剛點完菜,服務員就迫不及待地將菜品一一端上,讓人感覺猶如在趕場。這樣的服務不僅影響了用餐的氛圍,更使得每道菜的品嚐過程都顯得匆忙,整體用餐氣氛變得猶如在茶餐廳。而且大概忙中有亂,最後上完甜品才發覺有一道主菜未上,在甜品後才上主菜的清炒時蔬,實在失望。#### 總結####總的來說,對北京樓這次用餐十分失望。菜式質量的下降、味道的乏善可陳,難以想像這是老牌餐廳的質素。可一不可再
