Restaurant: Fat Belly Butcher & Gin House

To promote a new salt and sugar reduction (RSS) dietary culture and living style to the people of Hong Kong, the Environment and Ecology Bureau, the Committee on Reduction of Salt and Sugar in Food and the Centre for Food Safety of the Food and Environmental Hygiene Department have launched the "Less-Salt-and-Sugar Restaurants Scheme" ("Scheme"). Restaurants participated in the Scheme will offer less salt or sugar options to the consumer or even tailor-make less salt or sugar dishes in designated restaurants. Participating restaurants will be granted with the Scheme Labels for displaying in the premises for public identification. 大埔係一個充滿美食的社區,至少有好多小店開業兼有生存空間。今次試了近期大埔一家餐廳較為多人談論要試食嘅扒房,店舖位處於極唔顯眼小街-大埔墟東昌街。推開大閘門,彷彿到了中環SOHO區的酒吧扒房一樣,裝修走英式工業風格調,企係門口已聞到微微的燒肉味道,開始刺激味蕾。 未幫襯前,都無特別留意店裡老闆的故事,同場朋友吃過後無不讚好,今天再寫食評才知原來是前著名酒店的扒房總廚在大埔小角落低調地與拍檔開業。Fat belly除了肉類好吃外,聞說必試Gin酒。特別欣賞店主的開業精神,將高質素的餐廳引進大埔區,讓街坊留在自己社區消費,能夠享受到真正高質素扒房用餐的體驗。從食物、服務以至對客人的精神都相當有高質。四人點了4份食物1. 按店員建議都係Medium Rare熟度,燒得都好香脆,一上枱就再Rest一下,肉眼的口感比熟成牛更嫩滑,但肉味比較起來無熟成牛咁濃郁。Side Dish揀左燒蔬菜、薯蓉

都好明顯係佢店裡的Signature,漢堡係手工做安格斯牛肉,肉味超級香濃,仲要超厚肉!配料仲有芝士、煙肉、洋蔥、蕃茄、酸瓜,配埋特式調配的醬汁,口感同層次都好豐富。
重點係配埋即炸超薄脆薯仔片,超級好食!!!!

粉麵的主食就唔多,得3款選擇,最後揀左依款長通粉,份量適中,Share食都好夠食,相對肉類嘅菜式就會較為平凡。

整體而言,今次的體驗係食得好享受,服務亦好周到,經常都問客人對食物嘅意見,同時CP值是極高!可列入同三五知美酒佳餚的聚腳點,下次希望有機會再試佢嘅酒
