To encourage eatery outlets to reduce food waste at source together with customers through offering portioned meals and adopting food waste reduction measures, the Environmental Protection Department has launched the “Food Wise Eateries” Scheme. Participants will be awarded with a Food Wise Eateries (FWE) accreditation status if they comply with the assessment criteria and will be granted with the FWE Logo and Stickers for displaying in the premises and their promotion for public identification. Applications are accepted all year round and are FREE of charge.

To promote a new salt and sugar reduction (RSS) dietary culture and living style to the people of Hong Kong, the Environment and Ecology Bureau, the Committee on Reduction of Salt and Sugar in Food and the Centre for Food Safety of the Food and Environmental Hygiene Department have launched the "Less-Salt-and-Sugar Restaurants Scheme" ("Scheme"). Restaurants participated in the Scheme will offer less salt or sugar options to the consumer or even tailor-make less salt or sugar dishes in designated restaurants. Participating restaurants will be granted with the Scheme Labels for displaying in the premises for public identification. 1:星期日訂兩位飲茶,一張長枱,兩組客人,枱頭 兩位,台尾兩位,中間有兩個吉位,當作兩張枱 兩台客,和搭枱沒分別。(訂位只是給你一個位置 坐)失望2:坐下頭頂被冷氣風口吹正,向侍應提出,可否調節 一下,不要太大風,回覆中央冷氣,控制不了, 你地調一下位置坐,兩個人對坐,變排排坐,侍 應還要告知,原先的位置是放圓枱,現改了放長 枱。(無奈)2:酥皮义燒焗餐包~微暖(不是即焗)沒香味。 荀尖鮮蝦餃~上枱呆左,蝦餃皮破爛,一夾皮饀分 離。(蒸左好耐) 咸水角~皮厚又硬(似微波爐叮完再叮)。 春風得意腸~好似擺左好耐。 香荽牛肉球~墊底係金姑碎,牛肉無味,沒香荽味 (這款要等,夠熱,但無味)。已連續數個星期日,兩老去品嚐各米芝蓮的中式酒樓飲茶吃點心,這一間令人失望和無奈。
