Today hubby and I plan to have a day trip at Yuen Long and try few restaurant that got high recommendation. First we try a beef ball shop....disappointed and after that at once we go straight to this noodle shop and think of compensate ourselves but again .....make us disappointed. When first go in the restaurant can tell that it got history and it’s a very local noodle shop which they produced their own noodles. We are so excited as we love those long history and traditional local hk restaurant

Anyway we are sitting on the 2nd floor and we ordered one stirred noodle with beef brisket (牛腩撈麵)one stirred noodle with shrimp & pork dumplings(水餃撈麵) and one wonton with soup (淨雲吞). All food are just so so.....even the home made noodle are just ok which really surprised us.
One thing I want to thanks is the lady waitress is such a nice waitress!
Anyway how come this restaurant can be Michelin recommended from 2018 till now? Is that because it’s old and traditional.....really got no idea 🤷🏼♀️
