To encourage eatery outlets to reduce food waste at source together with customers through offering portioned meals and adopting food waste reduction measures, the Environmental Protection Department has launched the “Food Wise Eateries” Scheme. Participants will be awarded with a Food Wise Eateries (FWE) accreditation status if they comply with the assessment criteria and will be granted with the FWE Logo and Stickers for displaying in the premises and their promotion for public identification. Applications are accepted all year round and are FREE of charge.

To promote a new salt and sugar reduction (RSS) dietary culture and living style to the people of Hong Kong, the Environment and Ecology Bureau, the Committee on Reduction of Salt and Sugar in Food and the Centre for Food Safety of the Food and Environmental Hygiene Department have launched the "Less-Salt-and-Sugar Restaurants Scheme" ("Scheme"). Restaurants participated in the Scheme will offer less salt or sugar options to the consumer or even tailor-make less salt or sugar dishes in designated restaurants. Participating restaurants will be granted with the Scheme Labels for displaying in the premises for public identification. 我最近與親友一起到翠園餐廳聚餐,本以為能享受到一頓溫馨美滿的團聚時光,誰知卻遇上了令人失望的用餐體驗。我們事先預訂了一個大桌子,以方便大家輕鬆聚會。不過,在點好套餐後,我們最初還是陸陸續續收到一些菜餚。然而,在只上了一半菜的情況下,等待下一道菜上桌時, 時間一分一秒地過去,我們始終等不到服務生送上任何其他菜品。即使我們多次主動詢問進度,也沒有得到任何有效的回應。整個用餐過程中,我們不得不完全靠自己服務,上菜速度緩慢到令人感到困擾。 等了一個半小時都還沒有上齊!!!更加令人憤怒的是,等了一個鐘才上的麵條,甚至還未煮熟!!!我們不得不耐心等待,但實在是修煉了太多耐性。服務態度冷淡,根本沒有顧及我們的需求,讓人感到被冷落和忽視。這實在是大大影響了我們本應歡愉的聚會氣氛。我真誠地希望翠園餐廳能夠重視這一情況,檢討並改善服務質素,以提供更好的用餐體驗。作為顧客,我們理應得到貼心周到的服務, 差評 差評 差評
