To encourage eatery outlets to reduce food waste at source together with customers through offering portioned meals and adopting food waste reduction measures, the Environmental Protection Department has launched the “Food Wise Eateries” Scheme. Participants will be awarded with a Food Wise Eateries (FWE) accreditation status if they comply with the assessment criteria and will be granted with the FWE Logo and Stickers for displaying in the premises and their promotion for public identification. Applications are accepted all year round and are FREE of charge.

To promote a new salt and sugar reduction (RSS) dietary culture and living style to the people of Hong Kong, the Environment and Ecology Bureau, the Committee on Reduction of Salt and Sugar in Food and the Centre for Food Safety of the Food and Environmental Hygiene Department have launched the "Less-Salt-and-Sugar Restaurants Scheme" ("Scheme"). Restaurants participated in the Scheme will offer less salt or sugar options to the consumer or even tailor-make less salt or sugar dishes in designated restaurants. Participating restaurants will be granted with the Scheme Labels for displaying in the premises for public identification. 今天要和客人吃晚飯,之前午餐吃過一次,現在晚上時段要再來一次,欣賞香港的夜景熱茶下有一個小燭台,把茶水保溫舟山海蜇頭,色澤同形狀同平時吃的不同,每片都有通透,麻油味很香,入口是脆爽,有嚼勁焗蟹蓋,份量不的蟹蓋,內裡藏著蛋白及蟹肉,店員介紹食法是先原汁原味品嚐蟹蓋,其後再加上一點黑醋一起吃,令味道提鮮整體的味道有點像賽螃蟹砂鍋津白,店員會先奉上給我們看看,便拿到旁邊幫我們分開數碗,更和我們說這道菜是抵吃,果然,內裡有花膠,肉丸,竹笙,海參等等材料,湯頭入口果然是鮮甜美一鍋大約我分到四碗
