To encourage eatery outlets to reduce food waste at source together with customers through offering portioned meals and adopting food waste reduction measures, the Environmental Protection Department has launched the “Food Wise Eateries” Scheme. Participants will be awarded with a Food Wise Eateries (FWE) accreditation status if they comply with the assessment criteria and will be granted with the FWE Logo and Stickers for displaying in the premises and their promotion for public identification. Applications are accepted all year round and are FREE of charge.

To promote a new salt and sugar reduction (RSS) dietary culture and living style to the people of Hong Kong, the Environment and Ecology Bureau, the Committee on Reduction of Salt and Sugar in Food and the Centre for Food Safety of the Food and Environmental Hygiene Department have launched the "Less-Salt-and-Sugar Restaurants Scheme" ("Scheme"). Restaurants participated in the Scheme will offer less salt or sugar options to the consumer or even tailor-make less salt or sugar dishes in designated restaurants. Participating restaurants will be granted with the Scheme Labels for displaying in the premises for public identification. 屋企人好鍾意嚟呢度落腳,勝在招呼周到坐得舒服。呢間我就第一次嚟,平時多數去其他分店食晚飯,最鍾意飲潮州茶。但係午餐冇奉送潮州茶有少少失望。其實都有嗌點心食,但係因為限於相片嘅上載數量限制,只係精選咗部份出嚟。大部分食物都算中上表現。牙帶魚煎得外脆內十分香口。蜆芥鯪魚肉都好彈牙,最欣賞係佢啲粒粒蜆肉都好飽滿,出面真係好少有。另外豬紅都炆得幾入味,又唔會嚡口,處理得幾好。個魚麪放落去平平無奇,但係食落去好鬼Q彈。個春菜排骨,唔知係唔係唔啱季節,唔比我想像中個春菜係有少少分別。個蠔餅就乾咗少少,但係啲蠔肉就好飽滿。個普寧豆腐都處理得幾好,係可惜冇乜豆味。潮菜粿條就有少少似咸水角,個皮幾軟糯。但係個韭菜餃啲韭菜就唔算多,如果多番啲嘅話個韭菜味就會更加濃香。後來屋企人唔夠喉,嗌多咗個香酥芋蓉鴨,食落去冇乜驚喜。最後就嗌咗個綠豆爽同埋咖啡糕,唔算太甜,剛好清一清個味蕾。呢餐下午茶相當滿足!
