To encourage eatery outlets to reduce food waste at source together with customers through offering portioned meals and adopting food waste reduction measures, the Environmental Protection Department has launched the “Food Wise Eateries” Scheme. Participants will be awarded with a Food Wise Eateries (FWE) accreditation status if they comply with the assessment criteria and will be granted with the FWE Logo and Stickers for displaying in the premises and their promotion for public identification. Applications are accepted all year round and are FREE of charge.

To promote a new salt and sugar reduction (RSS) dietary culture and living style to the people of Hong Kong, the Environment and Ecology Bureau, the Committee on Reduction of Salt and Sugar in Food and the Centre for Food Safety of the Food and Environmental Hygiene Department have launched the "Less-Salt-and-Sugar Restaurants Scheme" ("Scheme"). Restaurants participated in the Scheme will offer less salt or sugar options to the consumer or even tailor-make less salt or sugar dishes in designated restaurants. 太肚餓,所以今次叫了不少菜肴。先叫了芝士伊麵焗波士頓龍蝦配極品燒鵝皇,西蘭花抄龍躉球,果皮蒸南非鮑魚及金銀蒜蒸三頭大元貝。首先上菜的是西蘭花抄龍躉球,西蘭花爽脆而沒有抄過火喉,上碟時仍然非常翠綠。鮮甜美味的龍躉魚肉塊,肉質很嫩,魚肉很鮮美,啖落啖啖肉,沒有什麼魚骨在肉內,都非常合適怕魚骨的人。再來是大大碟的芝士伊麵焗波士頓龍蝦,芝士味很濃烈,醬汁不會太浠亦不會濃,與伊麵配搭剛好。龍蝦塊數量不少,每人都能夠分多幾件。龍蝦肉很飽滿,肉質美味及火喉按制好好。極品燒鵝皇(例牌)不是到到都可食到脆皮的燒鵝,有些地方開頭會脆,但放久了會很快出現軟皮狀態。富臨真是燒鵝的專家,這麼多的菜肴輪住吃,最後仍然脆口。除了脆口,肉質仍然保持嫩滑多汁,味道很鮮美。果皮蒸南非鮑魚好大隻的鮑魚呀!果皮的香味滲透在鮑魚肉內,鮑魚的口感咬落像吃緊軟綿綿的啫喱,但非常爽口。蒸的過程、時間及火喉拿握得太好了。金銀蒜蒸三頭大元貝,蒜泥的味道全在這隻扇貝上。扇貝肉嫩滑大隻配搭濃郁多汁的蒜泥粉絲,一啖食落去真的回味無窮。吃吓吃吓才發現,今餐除了燒鵝外其餘都是海鮮。話時話,海上人都話今次的海鮮新鮮美味,值得再來。
