To encourage eatery outlets to reduce food waste at source together with customers through offering portioned meals and adopting food waste reduction measures, the Environmental Protection Department has launched the “Food Wise Eateries” Scheme. Participants will be awarded with a Food Wise Eateries (FWE) accreditation status if they comply with the assessment criteria and will be granted with the FWE Logo and Stickers for displaying in the premises and their promotion for public identification. Applications are accepted all year round and are FREE of charge.

To promote a new salt and sugar reduction (RSS) dietary culture and living style to the people of Hong Kong, the Environment and Ecology Bureau, the Committee on Reduction of Salt and Sugar in Food and the Centre for Food Safety of the Food and Environmental Hygiene Department have launched the "Less-Salt-and-Sugar Restaurants Scheme" ("Scheme"). Restaurants participated in the Scheme will offer less salt or sugar options to the consumer or even tailor-make less salt or sugar dishes in designated restaurants. Participating restaurants will be granted with the Scheme Labels for displaying in the premises for public identification. 今天到長沙灣探屋企人,晚飯去酒樓食,屋企人話貿易廣場有間富臨酒家幾抵食,所以今晚就去。原來酒樓近排搞噱頭,會不定期做”太公分豬肉”送給食客,幸運今晚給我們遇上了。雖然係送,但一點不馬夫,新鮮切開還是暖暖的,皮脆肉嫩。鮑魚口感不算韌,都夠入味,汁香味濃,還有配菜西蘭花和東菇。平時通常係杏汁白肺湯,今次有金銀菜,清清地都幾好,白肺嫩腍。平時食上海菜才有,而家富臨都有做,賣相飽滿油潤,麵包質感鬆而實在,肉餡味道香濃,如果再汁潤些就更好。菜夠大碟,芥菜新鮮,用上腩肉炒,芥菜都食到腩肉的香。份量都幾足,而且白鱔每件都好厚切,肉質爽韌,鱔味香濃,配豉汁最好不過。粉漿好薄,咬開肉都夠大件,做到外層脆內腍軟,酸汁開胃,配有菠蘿和青紅椒。
