To encourage eatery outlets to reduce food waste at source together with customers through offering portioned meals and adopting food waste reduction measures, the Environmental Protection Department has launched the “Food Wise Eateries” Scheme. Participants will be awarded with a Food Wise Eateries (FWE) accreditation status if they comply with the assessment criteria and will be granted with the FWE Logo and Stickers for displaying in the premises and their promotion for public identification. Applications are accepted all year round and are FREE of charge.

To promote a new salt and sugar reduction (RSS) dietary culture and living style to the people of Hong Kong, the Environment and Ecology Bureau, the Committee on Reduction of Salt and Sugar in Food and the Centre for Food Safety of the Food and Environmental Hygiene Department have launched the "Less-Salt-and-Sugar Restaurants Scheme" ("Scheme"). Restaurants participated in the Scheme will offer less salt or sugar options to the consumer or even tailor-make less salt or sugar dishes in designated restaurants. Participating restaurants will be granted with the Scheme Labels for displaying in the premises for public identification. 下班後去考試,未夠六點已經到達試場,還趕得切去附近吃下午茶 連鎖茶餐廳,平時多數去翠華,倒是第一次去太興。太興環境舒適,走高檔路線,如果有 wi-fi 就更為理想。看看餐牌,全以套餐為主,晚市款式比酒樓還要貴 你相信這是手打多士嗎?麵包鬆軟,但沒甚麼特別,吃不出是手打的。奶醬查得均勻,滿是花生粒粒。只有小小四片,$24 連餐飲是偏貴。柑桔蜜,本期望是酸酸甜甜的柑桔飲品,意想不到竟然是咸柑桔。當天我沒有感冒,喝咸柑桔感覺怪怪的,只喝了半杯便放棄了。茶餐廳格局,酒樓價錢 ,寧可正正經經去酒樓吧。
