To encourage eatery outlets to reduce food waste at source together with customers through offering portioned meals and adopting food waste reduction measures, the Environmental Protection Department has launched the “Food Wise Eateries” Scheme. Participants will be awarded with a Food Wise Eateries (FWE) accreditation status if they comply with the assessment criteria and will be granted with the FWE Logo and Stickers for displaying in the premises and their promotion for public identification. Applications are accepted all year round and are FREE of charge.

To promote a new salt and sugar reduction (RSS) dietary culture and living style to the people of Hong Kong, the Environment and Ecology Bureau, the Committee on Reduction of Salt and Sugar in Food and the Centre for Food Safety of the Food and Environmental Hygiene Department have launched the "Less-Salt-and-Sugar Restaurants Scheme" ("Scheme"). Restaurants participated in the Scheme will offer less salt or sugar options to the consumer or even tailor-make less salt or sugar dishes in designated restaurants. Participating restaurants will be granted with the Scheme Labels for displaying in the premises for public identification. 今日約咗朋友出去食飯,佢話想食蟹喎,咁就搵個特別啲嘅menu食餐好啦🦀翡翠拉麵小籠包新出咗個蟹王盛宴,全個蟹饌有十道菜式,4位用都唔洗一千蚊,咁就一終試下啦❤️.前菜除咗有花雕醉雞同鎮江排骨呢兩味必食嘅上海菜之餘,仲有一個蟹肉麻醬粉皮。雞絲粉皮就食得多喇,蟹肉粉皮都係第一次,估唔到個配搭咁清新,仲好多蟹肉添!.之後嘅點心就係Hi ~蟹肉瑤柱小籠包,個小籠包入面除咗蟹肉同豬肉,仲有瑤柱,一啖咬落去係爆汁㗎!勁yummy!.小菜方面呢,就有松子魚呢個功夫菜同埋瑤柱冬菇扒時蔬,仲有嘅就係惹味椒鹽炒蟹!呢個炒蟹厲害喇,先炸後炒,咸香酥脆嘅炒蟹加埋炸蒜同辣椒一齊食,重點是連殼帶肉都吃到,真係無乜幾多餐廳可以做到👍🏻.仲有就係每人都有一位嘅蟹皇羹,除咗蟹肉,仲有蝦,魚肚,帶子,十分足料🍲再加埋個蟹肉炒飯,蟹肉同蟹子嘅分量比想像中豐富,個飯又炒得乾身,爸爸同朋友爭啲要爭食呀🍚.再加埋個豆沙鍋餅做甜品同每位都有嘅豆漿或檸檬薏米水,大家都食到捧住個肚咁走!
