To encourage eatery outlets to reduce food waste at source together with customers through offering portioned meals and adopting food waste reduction measures, the Environmental Protection Department has launched the “Food Wise Eateries” Scheme. Participants will be awarded with a Food Wise Eateries (FWE) accreditation status if they comply with the assessment criteria and will be granted with the FWE Logo and Stickers for displaying in the premises and their promotion for public identification. Applications are accepted all year round and are FREE of charge.

To promote a new salt and sugar reduction (RSS) dietary culture and living style to the people of Hong Kong, the Environment and Ecology Bureau, the Committee on Reduction of Salt and Sugar in Food and the Centre for Food Safety of the Food and Environmental Hygiene Department have launched the "Less-Salt-and-Sugar Restaurants Scheme" ("Scheme"). Restaurants participated in the Scheme will offer less salt or sugar options to the consumer or even tailor-make less salt or sugar dishes in designated restaurants. Participating restaurants will be granted with the Scheme Labels for displaying in the premises for public identification. 2019/07/29(晚餐) 突然想吃醉雞和乾煸四季豆,於是朋友提議到新世紀的翡翠拉麵小籠包就餐。環境:座位有高檯式、吧檯式、餐桌式等迎合不同食客的需要。 侍應安排我們兩人到餐桌式的兩人座位,不過我覺得桌面太小了。因為四個菜連兩個飲品幾乎同時上桌,連兩杯茶水這樣根本放不下,幸好隔壁客人剛走,我們唯有把飲品放在旁邊的桌面上。服務:侍應服務態度尚可。飲品:①熱檸檬薏米水 HKD $20第一次飲,感覺又幾特別。②四川酸辣湯 HKD $50有豬紅、肉絲、竹筍、冬菇等材料,略嫌酸多辣少。食物:①花雕醉雞 HKD $74酒味適中到雞肉口感一般②上海炒粗麵 HKD $80配料有椰菜、小棠菜、冬菇、肉絲等,大大碟份量十足,味道還可。③上海小籠包 HKD $40湯汁不過不失,我中意元朗X哥的小籠包多啲。④乾煸四季豆 HKD $76鹹淡適中,煸香後仍保持豆的甜脆,是我喜歡的口感。【溫馨提示】因個人口味各異,以上純屬我的個人己見🙇
