To encourage eatery outlets to reduce food waste at source together with customers through offering portioned meals and adopting food waste reduction measures, the Environmental Protection Department has launched the “Food Wise Eateries” Scheme. Participants will be awarded with a Food Wise Eateries (FWE) accreditation status if they comply with the assessment criteria and will be granted with the FWE Logo and Stickers for displaying in the premises and their promotion for public identification. Applications are accepted all year round and are FREE of charge.

今晚同家人慶生,所以選擇了這家在佐敦的傳統飯店吃飯。這家飯店附近其實已成為一個食店雲集的地區,但各店百花齊放,令各大食家可以一飽口福。而這店就相對歷史較悠久,可見佢真的有實力,才能屹立不到。由於和一家人食生日飯,當然食要食好啲。而其中有幾樣菜值得推介。半隻燒鵝:相對燒鴨,食燒鵝的真的買少見少,因價錢較貴,但佢的燒鵝與深井的真的有得揮,佢好像是自家燒的燒鵝,所以夠香,而且鵝都夠滑,所以真的好正。燒腩仔:個皮真的好脆,真的脆到薯片一樣,但腩肉沒有油膩感,真的係高質素的燒腩仔。炸蝦餅:相對可能有魚肉,或較假的蝦餅外,佢選用較多蝦肉,真的啖啖蝦肉,加上鮮炸,配上薄薄的外皮,令我一試難忘。鹹菜豬肚湯:白白的湯頭,配上香香的胡椒味和足料乾淨的豬肚和鹹菜,又下火又好飲。其他菜式都係十分有鑊氣,又足料又抵食,雖然沒有華麗的裝修,亦是家庭式較港式的服務,但真的食左一餐充滿港式傳統的晚餐。有時舊食店都有好東西,我們需要好好尋找,好好保存。
