To encourage eatery outlets to reduce food waste at source together with customers through offering portioned meals and adopting food waste reduction measures, the Environmental Protection Department has launched the “Food Wise Eateries” Scheme. Participants will be awarded with a Food Wise Eateries (FWE) accreditation status if they comply with the assessment criteria and will be granted with the FWE Logo and Stickers for displaying in the premises and their promotion for public identification. Applications are accepted all year round and are FREE of charge.

假期想試新餐廳，就去了早前某報道介紹的餐廳。可能是早上，唔使排隊，還有很多坐位隨便坐，餐牌全日都是1個，咸點只有1個通粉，1個三文治，我們也只能點了1碟牛腩通粉，1件五香肉丁炒蛋花生醬多士，1杯啡立刻，等了15分鐘，通粉來了，牛腩有4塊，硬得咬不開，只能吐出來，還收$98。由於冷氣太凍，到飲啡立刻時已經變成凍飲。炒蛋還好，可能是有五香肉丁。食客有9個，但職員卻有7個，所以不停地在廚房旁邊打牙鉸。名過於實，給報道騙了。
