To encourage eatery outlets to reduce food waste at source together with customers through offering portioned meals and adopting food waste reduction measures, the Environmental Protection Department has launched the “Food Wise Eateries” Scheme. Participants will be awarded with a Food Wise Eateries (FWE) accreditation status if they comply with the assessment criteria and will be granted with the FWE Logo and Stickers for displaying in the premises and their promotion for public identification. Applications are accepted all year round and are FREE of charge.

To promote a new salt and sugar reduction (RSS) dietary culture and living style to the people of Hong Kong, the Environment and Ecology Bureau, the Committee on Reduction of Salt and Sugar in Food and the Centre for Food Safety of the Food and Environmental Hygiene Department have launched the "Less-Salt-and-Sugar Restaurants Scheme" ("Scheme"). Restaurants participated in the Scheme will offer less salt or sugar options to the consumer or even tailor-make less salt or sugar dishes in designated restaurants. 難得的出去食晚飯,就陪屋企人去北角。富臨一直都價廉物美,都有多間分店,屋企人又鐘意酒樓的叫餸食飯,所以就去咗富臨一試晚餐。 花膠鵝掌北菇煲 $98 個煲夠熱,上菜嘅都時候都有煙。花膠大塊兼爽口,北菇有成6-7朵,大朵之餘又好入味,加埋鵝掌一齊煲,味道十足。  香薯一口牛 $88 牛肉粒炒得剛好,肉質頗嫩,不會炒得過老,也不會太韌和「鞋」。薯仔本身幾甜,牛粒和薯仔的味道匹配,加上黑椒汁,味道開胃,餸飯一流。  薑蔥焗筒蠔$128筒蠔很大隻,有半隻手掌咁大。味道唔腥,加上薑蔥去炒,不單止冇搶咗個蠔味更提升咗不少鮮味,再以煲去上菜,熱辣辣咁入口好好食。  清蒸龍躉斑 $138 魚肉好鮮嫩好滑,不會因蒸得太老而失去鮮美。鼓油亦淋上油,使整條魚更香。魚肉好多,整條魚好肥美。  例牌糖水:紅豆沙 紅豆滿滿一碗,每一羹都有好多粒紅豆。紅豆煲得有微微沙粒,口感滿足。甜度適中,不嗜甜嘅人都會鐘意。 除咗上面個啲之外,仲嗌咗芝士龍蝦伊麵,燒乳鴿,六隻蒸鮑魚同蝦球炒通茶。四個人食八樣餸$1000多啲,每個人唔使$300蚊,抵食呀!
