To encourage eatery outlets to reduce food waste at source together with customers through offering portioned meals and adopting food waste reduction measures, the Environmental Protection Department has launched the “Food Wise Eateries” Scheme. Participants will be awarded with a Food Wise Eateries (FWE) accreditation status if they comply with the assessment criteria and will be granted with the FWE Logo and Stickers for displaying in the premises and their promotion for public identification. Applications are accepted all year round and are FREE of charge.

To promote a new salt and sugar reduction (RSS) dietary culture and living style to the people of Hong Kong, the Environment and Ecology Bureau, the Committee on Reduction of Salt and Sugar in Food and the Centre for Food Safety of the Food and Environmental Hygiene Department have launched the "Less-Salt-and-Sugar Restaurants Scheme" ("Scheme"). Restaurants participated in the Scheme will offer less salt or sugar options to the consumer or even tailor-make less salt or sugar dishes in designated restaurants. Participating restaurants will be granted with the Scheme Labels for displaying in the premises for public identification. 一行四人,大約12:25pm左右到此食午膳,叫了(1) 炒萵筍,味道好味,但份量細碟(2)蘿蔔絲煎餅,外皮香脆,但蘿蔔絲有苦味(3)小籠包,皮薄多汁,非常出色(4)(一碟忘記了名的炒飯)有魚有菜。 飯粒粒分明,但食落全口好多粉那樣,味道不討好(5)帶子蝦菇炆麵(忘了名字),麵質太軟,好難食服務:食至尾聲,女侍應有禮地問:「要唔要甜品?),我話攞餐牌睇睇,之後回應決定不要。 過多5分鐘左右,又有女侍應問食唔食甜品,我再次回應不要了。 相隔5-10分鐘左右,當細仔放埋最後一堆麵入口不久,有男侍應問可否幫我們收嘢。我原以為只收食物碟,最後居然收剩茶右不是杯和茶壼而已。原本打算坐至1:55pm左右才埋單(因為要等睇戲),但他們已經收剩杯而已,所以不好意思地立刻叫埋單。 當我交出信用咭後,一位女侍應跟外面剛到不久的一群客説:「呢張枱埋單了。」期間,其中一位客人仲問清楚是那張,侍應仲清楚指出是我的那張枱。 如是這,幾名客人站在我的座位後等候着我埋單簽咭。我覺得如果此情況在同集團的美心酒樓是可以接受,但北京樓收得顧客這個價錢,不應給人予被催趕埋單的感覺,我們一行人,前後也只是用了大約一小時用餐而已。

我覺得如果此情況在同集團的美心酒樓是可以接受,但北京樓收得顧客這個價錢,不應給人予被催趕埋單的感覺,我們一行人,前後也只是用了大約一小時用餐而已。 如果我打算食完即走的話,便不須選擇北京樓,在同一商埸,可以有更多更便宜的選擇。
