To encourage eatery outlets to reduce food waste at source together with customers through offering portioned meals and adopting food waste reduction measures, the Environmental Protection Department has launched the “Food Wise Eateries” Scheme. Participants will be awarded with a Food Wise Eateries (FWE) accreditation status if they comply with the assessment criteria and will be granted with the FWE Logo and Stickers for displaying in the premises and their promotion for public identification. Applications are accepted all year round and are FREE of charge.

昨晚一家人去食飯，本來係想開開心心。其他的侍應係餐與餐之間轉碟或者叉既時候，都會講聲唔好意思之類既說話。而唯獨得一位男侍應，係放碟既時候，係放每一個既碟既時候，都係用拋既方式。當放下既時候唔會理你做緊咩，係咪傾緊計。而係係你同家人談話時，直接衝過來，唔聲唔聲就丟一隻碟係你面前。重要係次次都係咁。遠距離地拋丟擺放餐具，我人生真係第一次見。唔知以為睇雜技😀正常應該係行過來你旁邊，然後輕放在檯面上。個碟或餐具係不會係檯面進行跳躍先落檯面。食物上正常。但只係服務已經可以唔洗去。
