To encourage eatery outlets to reduce food waste at source together with customers through offering portioned meals and adopting food waste reduction measures, the Environmental Protection Department has launched the “Food Wise Eateries” Scheme. Participants will be awarded with a Food Wise Eateries (FWE) accreditation status if they comply with the assessment criteria and will be granted with the FWE Logo and Stickers for displaying in the premises and their promotion for public identification. Applications are accepted all year round and are FREE of charge.

To promote a new salt and sugar reduction (RSS) dietary culture and living style to the people of Hong Kong, the Environment and Ecology Bureau, the Committee on Reduction of Salt and Sugar in Food and the Centre for Food Safety of the Food and Environmental Hygiene Department have launched the "Less-Salt-and-Sugar Restaurants Scheme" ("Scheme"). Restaurants participated in the Scheme will offer less salt or sugar options to the consumer or even tailor-make less salt or sugar dishes in designated restaurants. Participating restaurants will be granted with the Scheme Labels for displaying in the premises for public identification. 上網搵尖沙咀有咩中菜好食,見到依間d片皮鴨好似幾靚幾好食咁,所以就一於叫埋班朋友試試佢!不過去到就俾d海鮮吸引左原來依度既海鮮先係主打!望住維港食特別正~椒鹽魷魚鬚…先黎個魷魚鬚作為starter ,碟頭唔大,如果三、四人食岩岩好,個炸粉唔會太厚,魷魚夠彈牙又保留到應有既鮮味醬皇蒸東星斑…蒸魚就食得多,但將豉油換成醬汁既蒸魚真係第一次見同第一次食,條東星都幾滑,加埋面頭個豬油渣再沾埋個醬,第一次可以用惹味黎形容東星斑欖豉醬爆花蛤皇…每隻花蛤都幾大隻,最緊要係無沙!欖豉醬就令花蛤變得惹味山楂鳳梨脆皮咕嚕肉...最鐘意食拔絲既咕嚕肉!皮脆肉嫩,肥膏唔會太多,面頭既菠蘿乾好甜又脆脆地濃雞湯海味浸時蔬龍蝦芝士焗伊麵… 一上枱,我地成班朋友既眼球都focus 左喺碟龍蝦伊麵度!有別於傳統,依度既芝士超多之餘仲焗得夠哂香口!龍蝦亦夠厚肉,夠哂滋味!香茅蘆薈果凍… 食到飽如果再食糖水就會膩,但依個果凍反而有清新既感覺,第一次食加左香茅既甜品,味道好特別,真係可以清哂飽濟感
