To encourage eatery outlets to reduce food waste at source together with customers through offering portioned meals and adopting food waste reduction measures, the Environmental Protection Department has launched the “Food Wise Eateries” Scheme. Participants will be awarded with a Food Wise Eateries (FWE) accreditation status if they comply with the assessment criteria and will be granted with the FWE Logo and Stickers for displaying in the premises and their promotion for public identification. Applications are accepted all year round and are FREE of charge.

To promote a new salt and sugar reduction (RSS) dietary culture and living style to the people of Hong Kong, the Environment and Ecology Bureau, the Committee on Reduction of Salt and Sugar in Food and the Centre for Food Safety of the Food and Environmental Hygiene Department have launched the "Less-Salt-and-Sugar Restaurants Scheme" ("Scheme"). Restaurants participated in the Scheme will offer less salt or sugar options to the consumer or even tailor-make less salt or sugar dishes in designated restaurants. Participating restaurants will be granted with the Scheme Labels for displaying in the premises for public identification. 石門食肆選擇算多,但人流也多,晚上很多餐廳也要排隊,富臨勝在地方寬敞,可容納非常多人,食物味道尚可,因此經常成為一家人的“飯堂”。我們三人晚上6點半到達,立即入座。點了1湯1飯2餸:海皇冬瓜盅 - 好飲美味,材料豐富,有蝦、瑤柱、蟹柳等,三人合共喝了約9-10碗。鼓汁蒸大鱔 - 與冬瓜盅是個套餐($188)。之前食過不錯,但今次未能保持水準,非常難食,肉質“梅”,有怪味,全家一致劣評。菠蘿生炒骨 - 正常生炒骨味道,生炒骨數量多。結賬$325.5,人均$109。
